Breathing Warmth Into How You Show Up

This meditation invites you to connect with warmth and intention through breath and visualization. Beginning with gentle breath awareness, you are guided to visualize a glowing sphere of warm light and gradually draw that warmth into your body. As the light merges with you, breath becomes a way to embody ease, stillness, and grounded presence. From this place, you are invited to sense a future vision of how you are showing up and shape it into an aspiration offered outward. This is a recording from a live Journey You Own Meditation Gathering, so you may notice natural pauses and gentle references to shared practice.

Transcript

Take a moment to connect with your breath,

Noticing the rise and fall of your shoulders,

The expansion of the lungs.

Each breath is an invitation to relax a little more deeply,

Keeping the breath as an anchor.

Notice what's occupying the mind,

And then gently let go of any thoughts.

And then in this open space,

I invite you to visualize a sphere in front of you.

This sphere is approximately two inches in diameter.

It's like a glowing sun,

Warm light pulsating from it.

Similar to the sun,

You can feel its warmth on your face.

Notice with your next breath if you can draw in the light from this pulsation,

That sphere in front of you.

As the light lands on you and enters your face and with every breath,

Notice that it brings relaxation and a gentle ease to the muscles of your face.

With each breath,

This warm glow softens and fills you with light and energy and stillness.

As you inhale,

Notice with each breath this glow coming more deeply into your body from this external sphere now filling you through your lungs and to your abdomen so that you yourself are glowing,

Full of light and energy,

A softening.

Now merge this sphere inseparably with you such that you and the light are completely one.

With each breath on the exhalation,

A soft glow emanates from you.

And on the inhalation,

You can feel the warmth within you deep in your body,

Allowing yourself to sink into the breath and into this light.

Notice what the experience is in your body in this moment.

Now sitting with this light,

Bring to mind a vision of yourself in the future,

A vision of who it is that you're being.

Perhaps it's how you're showing up with this light energy,

An opportunity to set an intention for this future vision from a place of grounding.

Notice if there's a particular color or place or sensation that arises with your visualization.

If it aligns with your visualization,

You might probe what your underlying motivations are.

What does this future vision have in store for you?

For the next few minutes as we sit in silence,

Take whatever that vision is and then place it into an aspiration or a statement that you place out to the universe.

Who is it that you're aspiring to be or what is it that is in store for you in that future?

Dissolve any visualization that you have for future now and return to the body and the breath and the shining,

Glowing sphere or orb within you and become present once again to the warmth of the breath.

Taking it one step further to even dissolve the visualization of the warmth and the sphere so that you're left in the stillness of the breath and allow yourself to rest in open awareness.

When you hear the bell,

Take another few deep breaths before returning to our space together.
