Meditation allows me to learn about my habits and be mindful about them.
Is it okay to make it a goal of doing meditation?
The goal of meditation is about creating a life without suffering and creating a life that is truly free.
So if you really diagnose the underlying cause of your suffering,
You'll realize that it's due to your karma.
It's basically a cycle,
Repeated cycle of your subconscious habits.
And this leads into a kind of a non-intentional cycle of speech,
Of actions,
Of behaviors that causes you suffering.
And through meditation,
You're able to get down to this underlying cause,
Recognize it.
So if you recognize this and can actually mitigate the impulsive,
Subconscious behaviors that cause you suffering,
Then that by itself will be getting rid of that suffering.
So being aware of your habits and being mindful about them is actually a great milestone in your way to the ultimate objective,
Which is to free yourself of the suffering.
