Welcome to Soul Wave Meditation.

May our practice and intentions allow us to cultivate an even balance between our energy,

Heart and mind.

Take a comfortable seat or lying position and tune into your breath as well as any emotions you are feeling in the moment.

Give yourself permission to welcome any feelings that arise.

As I begin to name a number of different things,

I invite you to envision them on the level of emotion,

Memory and imagination the best you can,

Jumping from image to image as soon as you hear it.

A wide open field,

An island,

Sitting at a desk,

A garden spade,

Reading your favorite book,

A zeppelin in the sky,

Attending a birthday party,

A castle,

A ball of yarn,

A rusty nail,

Visiting a museum,

A tent,

A giraffe,

A peacock's feather,

A promise you made and kept,

A bird,

Watching the sunset from a deck,

The loud cheering of a crowd,

Crickets chirping,

Sailboats in a bay,

A complicated look,

The smell of fresh cut grass,

Getting your haircut,

Walking in your favorite pair of shoes,

Drawing a warm bath,

Rusty tools,

Exchanging a glance from across a room,

Walking on a city street,

The sound and feeling of your walking on a city street,

A blue sky,

A cloudless blue sky,

Waiting for test results,

The smell of coffee brewing,

Canoeing on a river,

Falling deeply in love,

The sound of a bird's wings flapping overhead,

Driving along the coastline,

Having a difficult conversation,

Capturing a photo of a favorite memory,

A sculpture,

Walking up the staircase in a lighthouse,

Raking leaves,

The sound of your childhood best friend's voice,

Waiting in line,

Waking up from a good night's rest,

Dancing like no one is watching,

Eating at a restaurant while reading a book by yourself,

A jet stream in the sky,

A car's horn,

The smell of cookies baking,

Riding in the back of a taxi,

A farmhouse,

A winding road to a farmhouse,

A cat curled up on a rug,

Conquering a fear,

The icing of a cake,

Signing your name,

Tree branches swaying in the wind,

The taste of ice cold lemonade,

A traffic light turning green,

Preparing a meal to share with a loved one,

Fog rolling in,

A starlit sky,

A vibrant sunset,

A tempting temple on a mountain,

A cabin in the woods,

Someone or something that inspires you at your core,

Spending time in reflection,

Trying a new food,

Hosting a party for friends and family,

Walking at the water's edge,

A dimly lit lamp,

A campfire,

Your favorite place on earth,

Negotiating a great salary,

Your toes in the sand,

Laughing with friends,

The flicker of a candle,

The sounds and space around you,

The sounds and space within you,

Your whole body and being here in this space now,

The sound of my voice,

The sound of your voice,

The rhythm and sound of your breath flowing through you.

Now as you gently begin to bring your awareness back to the whole body happening here in the present moment,

To the breath that is happening here in the present moment,

Taking a moment to arrive fully in the here and the now and acknowledging the time that you created for mindfulness,

May this practice and your intentions allow for a cultivation of even balance between your energy,

Heart and mind.
