I'm Julie LaBritain.
I invite you to sit back and close your eyes as we relax our bodies and clear our minds in preparation for our journey.
Let's begin by taking three deep breaths.
Breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth,
Allow your body to relax more and more each time you breathe.
Breathing in healing love and light and breathing out all the stress and worry from your body.
As we continue to breathe we'll begin to focus on relaxing our bodies.
Let's start at our feet.
Focusing on your feet as you breathe,
Feel your feet relaxing.
Feel all the tension draining out of your feet.
This feeling of relaxation continues up your legs and thighs as they begin to relax.
As you continue to breathe,
Focus on your lower back.
Feel it relax.
Breathing in and out.
Continue to relax your body.
Feel all the tension.
Leave your upper back and shoulders.
Feel your arms and hands relax.
Feel your neck and face relax.
Feel your whole body fully relax.
See yourself fully relaxed.
Now let's empty our minds.
As thoughts arise,
Think of them as leaves floating on a stream.
Allow them to slowly float away from you.
The thoughts become fewer and fewer until soon there are no more leaves,
Just clean,
Clear,
Flowing water.
You find yourself in the desert at night.
It is quite dark and the stars above shine so brightly they look like fiery diamonds that have been placed into the heavens by a masterful jeweler.
Not far in the distance,
You see a pyramid that rises into the night.
As you walk closer,
You see torches lit on golden rods placed into the sand.
They light your path that leads into the pyramid.
You push open the door and find you have entered the most beautiful temple you have ever seen or imagined.
There are plush silken rugs covering the floors.
Beautiful art is tastefully placed everywhere you look.
Soft music fills the air and the scent of expensive perfumes and exotic oils waft over you.
Suddenly the room is empty.
Now the only object that remains is a large ornate mirror in the center of the room.
A soft golden light shines from within it.
You step closer,
Expecting to see your own curious face,
But instead you see a beautiful Egyptian goddess.
Queen Nefertiti smiles at you from within the mirror.
She flutters her long lashes,
Her eyes artistically shadowed in blue and green,
Outlined in the blackest eyeliner.
Her skin is flawless.
Her gown is sewn with jewels and rich shimmering fabrics.
Her jewelry is breathtaking.
Never have you seen a goddess so beautiful.
You kneel down before her,
But she quickly gestures you to stand.
She reaches out her hand to you,
And it shimmers as it passes through the glass of the mirror.
Come,
Beautiful woman,
And join me.
You take a step through the mirror,
Feeling its coolness on your skin as you step through.
You are now in a glowing room.
Queen Nefertiti is not there,
But you still sense her presence.
You look around.
The walls are all mirrors.
Your reflection is mirrored back to you over and over from every angle.
You gasp.
You are absolutely beautiful.
You rub your eyes.
Is this really me I'm seeing?
You ask out loud.
You hear goddess Nefertiti laugh.
Yes,
Beautiful,
Of course it is.
This is what you look like.
This is your beauty radiating from within.
This is how others see you.
You take a moment to really see yourself.
In this mirrored room,
You can see yourself from every angle possible.
You look at yourself mesmerized.
You never notice the way your cheek curves.
The back of my calves are so attractive,
You think.
Have I always had these beautiful earlobes?
You wonder and smile.
And when you smile,
You see that you are even more beautiful than you imagined.
Your smile wavers as you realize how much time you have wasted not embracing your beauty.
You think about the years you have picked yourself apart,
Finding your flaws and focusing on them.
Now as you gaze into the mirror,
You realize that what you thought were flaws only add to your own unique beauty.
You take a deep breath and nod your head.
I understand now,
You say.
Excellent,
Goddess Nefertiti says.
Now take this knowledge with you out into the world and into your life.
Embrace it.
Embrace your beauty and your strength.
It's time for you to live life as a beautiful goddess.
The beautiful goddess that you are.
You feel the coolness of the mirror pass over you and find yourself once again in the beautiful temple of goddess Nefertiti.
The room is again filled with beautiful objects.
This temple reflects the beauty that is within.
Goddess Nefertiti's voice fills the room.
It is unique for each goddess that enters.
Feel free to come and enjoy the surroundings whenever you like.
And when you do,
Take a moment to remember your beauty and your strength.
And now when you're ready,
Opening your eyes,
Bringing back this understanding of your true beauty and your strength and taking it with you out into the world.
