Welcome to Find Yourself Meditations.
I'm Julie LaBrittain.
I invite you to sit back and close your eyes as we relax our bodies and clear our minds in preparation for our journey.
Let's begin by taking three deep breaths,
Breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth,
Allowing your body to relax more and more each time you breathe.
Breathing in healing love and light and breathing out all the stress and worry from your body.
As we continue to breathe,
We'll begin to focus on relaxing our bodies.
Let's start at our feet,
Focusing on your feet as you breathe.
Feel your feet relaxing.
Feel all the tension draining out of your feet.
This feeling of relaxation continues up your legs and thighs as they begin to relax.
As you continue to breathe,
Focus on your lower back.
Feel it relax.
Breathing in and out,
Continue to relax your body.
Feel all the tension leave your upper back and shoulders.
Feel your arms and hands relax.
Feel your neck and face relax.
Feel your whole body relax.
See your whole body fully relaxed.
Now let's empty our minds.
As thoughts arise,
Think of them as leaves floating on a stream.
Allow them to slowly float away from you.
The thoughts become fewer and fewer until soon there are no more leaves,
Just clean,
Flowing water.
You find yourself on a beautiful beach.
The sun is close to setting and the waves wash over the warm sand.
As the sun begins to sink into the water,
There is a flash of light.
From this flash of light,
You see a chariot being drawn not by horses,
But by doves tied to beautiful silk ribbons.
As the chariot flies closer,
You see there is a woman driving the chariot.
She is the most beautiful woman you have ever seen.
She looks very familiar and you realize she looks like one of your favorite actresses.
And now you notice her face is slowly changing and she looks like a famous model you have seen in magazines.
There is no denying it.
She is the most attractive woman you have ever seen.
She lands her chariot on the beach near you and as she steps down,
She smiles.
The energy that flows from her is the most loving energy you have ever felt.
It washes over you.
She walks over to you and says,
Hello beautiful.
I am so glad you could meet me here this evening.
I have something important I want to talk to you about.
It's not anything you don't know,
But I'm afraid you might have forgotten.
So I wanted to come here this evening and remind you.
Let's sit together.
You sink down into the warm sand and Goddess Venus sits across from you.
Please hold out your hand.
I want to show you something,
She says.
You hold out your hand and Goddess Venus gently traces a symbol on your palm.
This is my symbol.
It represents me,
Venus,
She says.
The symbol glows on your palm brighter and brighter and then slowly sinks into the skin,
Shimmering softly there.
Venus picks up a scallop shell and begins to pour sand into your palm.
This sand represents passion,
She says.
It sparkles as she pours it into your hand and as she pours,
It begins to overflow.
This is how passion should be in your life.
It should be overflowing.
When was the last time you felt so passionate that it overflowed from you and poured out into the world?
When was the last time you truly felt passionate about anything?
It's time for you to remember.
Remember what makes you feel passionate.
It's time to embrace that and bring it back into your life.
Take a moment,
Beautiful,
And remember what it is that once made you feel completely,
Totally passionate and excited about life.
Now Venus says,
I want you to look at this beach.
See how the sand goes on forever in both directions.
It is limitless.
This is how the love in your life should be.
It should be infinite.
I know lately you have been surviving on much less,
That you don't think you need any more than you have.
But I wanted to remind you that you are lovable.
Block the flow of love in your life,
Just like these waves that wash across the beach.
Let it flow in.
Let it wash over you.
Let love be infinite in your life.
Goddess Venus gently takes your face in her hands.
Look at me,
She says.
You look into her eyes and slowly,
Her face changes until it looks just like yours.
She smiles.
One of my gifts is reflecting the beauty I see in the world.
You are beautiful.
I just wanted to remind you.
She hugs you and you are wrapped in the most loving embrace you have ever felt.
It's time for me to go now,
She says.
But in the future,
If you should forget again that you are passionate,
You are lovable,
And you are beautiful,
Simply trace my symbol on the palm of your hand and remember.
She climbs aboard her chariot,
Smiles and waves and flies off into the setting sun.
And now when you're ready,
Opening your eyes and bringing back this beautiful energy of Goddess Venus and taking it with you out into the world.
