Welcome to today's meditation.

Today it's all about finding that little bit of peace inside,

Feeling grounded,

Confident,

Letting go of any stressors inside your body and inside your mind.

Before we begin,

Find a comfortable and quiet place where you won't be disturbed.

Take a moment to settle into a relaxed position,

Either seated or even laying,

Whatever feels best today.

Now let your eyes softly close and find this comfortable space inside of yourself.

You can start by bringing your attention to your breath.

Just notice the natural rhythm of your inhales and your exhales.

And with each breath,

Allow yourself to sink even deeper into relaxation,

Letting go of any tensions inside your body and really feeling this moment.

Become aware of your body,

If there's any aches or pains and breathe into them for just a moment.

And once you've done so,

Let's start by envisioning yourself.

Start by envisioning yourself.

Envision yourself to stand at the threshold of a familiar room or house.

Visualize the door in front of you leading out into a world beyond.

As you open the door,

Feel a gentle breeze against your skin.

Carrying with it a sense of tranquility.

Now step outside and feel the ground beneath your feet.

Notice the texture beneath,

Whether it's soft grass,

Cool pavement,

Maybe even warm sand.

With each step,

Feel yourself becoming more grounded,

More connected to the earth and a sense of relaxation.

Continue walking,

Allowing yourself to feel the surroundings,

To be fully present.

And notice whatever surroundings appear.

What kind,

Nice,

Good-looking environments can you find in your surroundings?

What can you find in your surroundings that you haven't come up with?

Maybe you feel the sun warming your skin or the gentle touch of some raindrops if it's a rainy day and it feels cool on your skin.

Embrace whatever weather presents itself,

Knowing that you're safe and supported at every step of the journey.

And with each step,

Feel your breath deepening,

Sinking with the rhythm of your movement and inhale the fresh air.

Fill up your lungs with vitality and exhale any lingering tension or doubt.

Releasing it back into the earth.

You can fully let go of it and just imagine it flowing out of your body,

Flowing out from your feet into the ground.

And now you slowly see a meadow appear in the distance,

A wide open meadow.

Take a moment at pause.

Take it all in.

See the beauty of the surroundings.

And notice the vibrant colors of the flowers,

The gentle sway of the grass,

And maybe also some birds singing in the distance.

With a sense of peace and contentment,

Find a comfortable spot to sit or stand in the meadow.

Close your eyes and let yourself be fully present in this very moment.

Feel the expansiveness of the meadow mirrored within you as your mind expands and calms.

Just notice what effects this beautiful scenery has on your body,

On your mind.

Look around and search for any detail that you might find.

And if there's still some tension in your body,

If there's still some doubt,

If there's still some tension in your body,

If there's still some doubt lingering,

Just take as much time as you want now to let it just flow out of your body.

Take a few moments to simply be,

Allowing yourself to rest in the state of groundedness and relaxation.

And know that you can return to this,

This place of calm and tranquility whenever you need to.

So when you're ready,

Gently begin to turn around,

Slowly come back,

Slowly come back just through the door into the room or house where you started out,

The familiar place.

Once you find a comfortable space there again,

You can start to wiggle your fingers and toes,

Allowing sensation to return to your body.

And slowly,

With your next inhale,

You can let your eyes slide open,

Taking in your surroundings with a renewed sense of clarity and peace.

Carry this feeling of grounded confidence and relaxation with you as you continue on with your day,

Knowing that you can always return to this wide open meadow,

Knowing that you can always return to this wide open meadow within your mind.
