Focus now.

A mental reset before work.

If you clicked on this,

You might be feeling stressed,

Overwhelmed,

Having a lack of clarity,

Or just wanting to shift your focus fully to work now.

That's why this meditation exists.

To guide you from where you are right now,

Into a state where you can be fully present with your work,

Your meaningful project,

Or simply to get something done with ease.

And while you listen to my voice,

You've already made the decision.

The tough part is done.

The relaxing and enjoyable part can now begin to unfold.

In subtle ways,

Maybe unnoticeable at first,

Bringing calm and clarity.

Your mind doesn't have to listen fully to what I'm saying.

Because your unconscious mind is always listening with one ear for the things that are important to you right now.

So you can allow your conscious mind to rest.

There is nothing to be done in this moment.

And while you listen,

You might also begin to notice your breath in its natural,

Calm,

And ever-changing way.

So continuously changing,

In fact,

That it can move gently and swiftly from a state of stress or tension into a state of calm and focus.

And just like your breath moves naturally in and out,

Without you having to control it,

You don't have to do anything.

To move into a mental state of focus and clarity either.

And as you continue to allow your breath to move naturally,

Maybe you already begin to notice a subtle sensation of relaxation spreading through your body.

It's fascinating,

Isn't it,

How simply noticing the breath can lead to such profound shifts.

And as you notice with curiosity how effortless this process is,

You might become aware of even deeper states of relaxation.

That were once unknown to you.

Just like walking deeper and deeper into a forest.

At first,

You still hear the noise of civilization,

The hustle,

The bustle.

But slowly,

It starts to fade until all you hear is the soft rustle of leaves,

A bird's song,

And your breath in the here and now.

And while you go deeper into your own stillness,

Let that stillness settle in fully into your body with the next few breaths.

Like a warm sense of calm and clarity spreading through your entire system,

Where a deep knowing of what matters resides.

The same way your camera automatically focuses on what's important,

Your mind does that too.

From fuzzy and unfocused to sharp.

Now,

I invite you to remember a moment where focus came effortlessly.

A situation where you felt fully immersed.

Maybe watching your favorite movie,

Seeing a loved one's face,

Playing with a pet.

Notice how that felt in your body.

The ease,

The joy of being right here,

Doing just that.

And in the same way,

You can let your mind focus on your most essential tasks effortlessly.

When you come back to this place of stillness and calm,

Things become clear,

Just like the morning mist evaporates from a crystal clear mountain lake.

Smooth and effortless.

Now,

Give yourself the time you need to fully absorb the feeling of effortless focus into your entire system,

Right before you gently wake up your body in a way that only you do,

So that you come back fully awake,

Refreshed and clear.

You can begin this return by deepening your breath,

Letting the air fill your lungs completely,

Re-energizing you from your head all the way down to your toes.

And when you feel ready to go about your day,

You can open your eyes with full presence,

Calm,

Clarity,

And a deep knowing of what is essential for you today.

And remember,

Whenever you need to,

Your subconscious will guide you back here,

Back to this place of stillness and clarity,

Because you are just one moment away from effortless focus.
