Mooladhara Chakra The Root It's saying you're safe to be here.
It's grounding.
It's safety.
It's belonging.
The intention of this meditation is to reconnect to your foundation,
Your breath,
Your body,
And your right to exist and take up space exactly as you are.
Begin laying down or seated with support.
Let your spine be steady and your breath be free.
Take a slow breath in and exhale out through your mouth.
Again,
Breathe in and let it go inside.
Let the body feel heavy,
Held,
Anchored,
Safe.
This is the root,
The base of the spine,
The part of you that disperses.
You are safe.
You are allowed to take up space.
You belong here.
Let your awareness travel down to your sit bones,
Your legs,
Your feet,
To every part of you that touches the earth.
Let yourself be held by gravity.
Feel the steadiness beneath you.
Feel the rhythm of your breath,
Like a drumbeat,
Slow,
Ancient,
Familiar.
Now breathe into this mantra.
Inhale,
I'm grounded.
Exhale,
I am safe to be free.
One more time,
Just like that.
I am grounded.
I am safe to be free.
Maybe the world hasn't always felt safe.
Maybe your body hasn't always felt like home.
But right now,
In this breath,
You can begin again.
You don't have to prove yourself.
You don't have to hustle to belong.
You belong because you exist.
You are here,
And that's enough.
Let yourself imagine roots extending from your body into the earth,
Strong,
Deep,
Safe,
Unshapable.
Let the breath nourish those roots.
Let the earth whisper back to you,
You are held.
Whatever life brings,
You can always return to this place,
This root,
This breath,
This truth.
You are safe to begin again.
You are safe to rest,
And you are absolutely safe to be here.
Gently start to come back to your body.
Wiggle your toes,
Roll the shoulders,
And feel the weight of your presence,
Solid and real.
I invite you to carry this with you.
You are not lost.
You are rooted,
Right here.
