This soothing visualisation practice is led by Jules, who guides you through the 7 main chakras of the body. This calming practice invites you to shift your awareness to each Chakra, awakening and harnessing a powerful warmth, energy and strength into each part of the body. This practice includes positive affirmations to mobilise greater alignment of the mind and soul, as well as to these pivotal energetic centres.

Transcript

To begin,

Gently close your eyes and settle your mind and body.

Rest in a comfortable position,

Either laying down or sitting upright.

Try and make your back as straight as possible,

Whilst also relaxed to allow energy to flow freely throughout your body.

Take three deep breaths in through your nose,

In through your mouth,

Making your exhale slightly longer.

Allow your mind to let go of what it no longer needs to hold onto.

Imagine your thoughts are leaves gently flowing down a river and notice them moving downstream,

Passing away effortlessly.

Allow your body to release any tension,

Surrendering and relaxing completely.

Carry on breathing at a normal and natural pace as you gently move your attention to the base of your spine,

To your root chakra,

The chakra of belonging.

Invite the color red into your visual field and imagine a ball of red light resting at the base of your spine.

Feel yourself grounded and rooted in this energy center as you repeat the words,

I am grounded,

I am secure.

Gently shift your awareness to the area just below your navel,

Your sacral chakra,

Your chakra of creativity,

Emotions,

Movement and pleasure.

Breathe into this area of your body and as you breathe out,

Let it soften and expand.

Imagine the color orange,

A warm ball of glowing orange light,

The setting sun resting just below your navel.

Hear the words,

I honor myself and my needs.

When you are ready,

Move your awareness up to the stomach area,

To your solar plexus located above your navel,

Your chakra of personal power.

Visualize a ball of yellow light within this area of your body.

Feel the energy here as you repeat the words,

I act with courage and I feel empowered.

Now moving up to the energy center of your heart,

Feel the warmth and strength of the energy here as you visualize a ball of green radiant light.

Notice how far it expands outwards and perhaps how the energy begins to move or shift as you repeat the words,

I give and receive unconditional love.

In your own time,

Move up to your throat chakra located at the center of your neck.

Visualize the color blue,

A ball of blue light,

The color of the sky.

As you breathe into this energy center,

Breathe out any tension and notice the energy clearing and expanding.

Allow the words to be expressed as,

I hear and speak my truth.

Move up to the energy center of your third eye located on your forehead in between your eyebrows.

Here you connect with your wisdom and intuition.

Notice any sensations that may arise between your eyebrow center as you visualize the color indigo.

See a ball of indigo light located here as you repeat the words,

I trust my intuition and my path is clear.

Recognize and pay attention to any visual images that may arise.

Finally,

In your own time,

Move your awareness to the top of your head,

To your crown chakra.

Invite a ball of soft violet light here.

Feel it expanding outwards from the top and back of your head.

Sense how it flows freely and effortlessly as you repeat the words,

I am healed on all levels of my being and I am connected with universal consciousness.

Bring your awareness outwards to encompass the whole of your body.

Recognize the flow of energy pulsating throughout your whole body from the base of your spine all the way up to the crown of your head.

Notice how the energy of each chakra is flowing with ease and there is a greater sense of balance to your overall being.

Continue to breathe at a normal pace as you take a minute to allow the energy to flow effortlessly throughout your whole body.

Now as we bring this meditation to a close,

Take a few deep breaths and thank yourself for taking the time to balance the energy centers of your body in your meditation practice today.

I find going through each chakra to be powerful. After a meditation clearing my chakras, I find myself getting rid of old mental baggage as well as old physical belongings. The meditation is short but I feel I’ve completed each chakra. I like the brevity of it. Short, sweet, complete!!
