If you feel that your mind is disturbed by the people around you,
Then this is a great light visualization meditation that would help you to release the emotional connections to them and find peace within yourself.
So that you could let go of the negative emotions and thoughts about them and further stabilize yourself.
Please sit up straight in a comfortable position.
Whenever you're ready,
Please gently close your eyes.
Let's take a few full breaths.
Inhale deeply.
Exhale slowly.
Inhale deeply.
Exhale slowly.
Inhale deeply again.
And as you exhale,
Please relax any areas of the body that might be tense or tight.
Observe the natural flow of your breath for a minute.
Feel the breath going in from the nose as your lung expands.
And feel the breath going out from your nose as your lung relaxes.
Continue this observation for some time.
Now please visualize someone that is causing you great distress recently.
It could be your spouse,
Relative,
Friend,
Neighbor,
Colleague,
Client,
Child,
And so on.
Once you found that person,
Think of the person as if he or she is in a hologram form.
And place that person in the same room as where you are right now.
Next,
Please gradually decorate the person with light sparks here and there.
The sparks could be bright yellow or white depending on your preference.
At first,
You might notice that there might only be a few sparkles of light in different parts of the person's body.
Then,
As time goes on,
The light sparkles are getting bigger and bigger and they're becoming more fragent than before.
Slowly but surely,
The light around the person eventually becomes so bright and effulgent that the person himself or herself is completely immersed in light.
Now it's time to have some fun.
But before moving on to the next stage,
Please keep in mind that through this visualization,
You are not exploding this person in light to harm the person in any way on an energetic level.
The light itself embodies love,
Forgiveness,
And a new beginning.
You are simply cleansing the energetic connection to that person in a positive way so that you will not get affected by the mutual emotions and attachments to each other.
So you are the controller of the light on the person right now.
Whenever you are ready,
Please explore the light on the person.
Now,
The person is gone and there are only a few sparkles of light here and there floating in the room like remnants of fireworks.
And then the sparkles themselves disappeared as well.
Please inhale deeply as you lift your shoulders.
Hold for a few seconds.
Then exhale slowly,
But completely.
Inhale deeply.
Exhale slowly.
At this present moment,
You feel much lighter and your heart feels more content and at peace compared to before.
Congratulations.
You have completed this light visualization exercise.
Feel free to do it again on another person if you feel there is a strong urge to do so.
You could also switch the object from a person to a thing,
An event,
A project,
A bill to pay,
Or anything else that is causing you great distress.
