An increase in progesterone levels shows ovulation.

AMH anti-mullerian hormone levels show how well the ovaries function.

Very low levels can suggest low ovarian reserve.

FSH,

Follicle stimulating hormone,

Triggers your ovaries to prepare an egg for release each month.

High FSH can mean lower fertility in women.

Your doctor may also want to check prolactin levels,

Thyroid function,

And other hormones specific to your situation.

Here are some yoga poses that help balance hormones.

The seated forward fold helps revitalize the ovaries and stomach while stretching your lower back,

Hips,

And hamstrings.

Sit with your legs outstretched in front of you.

Inhale and stretch your arms over your head.

Bend forward slowly,

Keeping your spine straight.

Touch the sides of your feet while exhaling.

Hold the position.

And on the next inhale,

Come back to seated position.

Lift your waist and legs in the air.

Support your waist with your palms,

Arms folded at the elbow,

Legs straight and held together.

Breathe naturally.

On the next exhale,

Slowly fold your body back to the ground.
