Welcome to this Christian healing meditation.
My name is Joy.
And I will be your guide for this body,
Mind,
And spirit restoration.
As we begin.
Find a quiet place.
Where you can sit or lie down comfortably.
A place you won't be disturbed.
A place maybe that is dark and warm and feels comfortable and serene.
Let your hands rest gently in your lap or by your sides.
If it feels right.
Close your eyes.
As you get comfortable,
There is no rush.
You are safe here.
God is already with you.
Allow your body to settle just a little deeper.
A little more relaxed.
Take a slow,
Deep breath.
In through your nose.
And let it out gently through your mouth.
Again,
Breathe in your peace.
Breathe out anything you are carrying.
One more time,
Inhale in the nearness of God.
Exhale any tension.
Beloved Child,
The Lord sees every part of you.
Every part of your body,
Mind,
And spirit.
And He desires wholeness for all three.
Scripture tells us.
May God Himself,
The God of Peace,
Sanctify you through and through.
May your whole spirit,
Soul,
And body be blameless at the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Thessalonians 5 verse 23.
These parts of you are woven together by the Creator.
When one is weary?
The others feel it too.
And when one is healed in Christ.
The others rise with it.
Be kind and easy with yourself right now.
Healing is not a race.
Your body's energy has been poured out and it needs time to rebuild.
Just as the Earth rests after winter,
Before spring comes.
The emotional and mental toll you feel is real and honest.
Jesus himself said,
Come to me,
All you who are weary and burdened,
And I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you.
And learn from me.
For I am gentle and humble in heart.
And you will find rest for your souls.
Matthew 11,
Verses 28-30.
He is gentle with you.
You may rest.
In the comfort of his gentleness.
Now bring your attention to your body.
Your physical being.
Breathe in slowly.
Feel the gentle rise in your chest and belly.
Breathe out.
Release any tightness or pain you may notice.
With each breath in,
Imagine God's healing light.
Filling the places that feel tired or broken.
Your energy is being renewed.
Cell by cell.
Breath by breath.
The same God who formed you in the womb is rebuilding you now.
I am the Lord who heals you.
Exodus 15,
Verse 26.
Move your awareness to your mind and emotions.
Breathe in.
Let God's truth settle over any racing thoughts.
Breathe out.
Release worry,
Fear,
Or the heavy weight of what this journey has cost you.
It is okay that your mind and heart feel the toll.
Healing asks so much of us,
But the God of all comfort is here.
He does not scold you for feeling weary.
He invites you closer.
In Psalm 18 too.
The Lord is my rock,
My fortress,
And my deliverer.
My God is my rock,
In whom I take refuge.
He is your safe place when emotions swirl.
Now let body,
Mind,
And spirit come together in his presence.
Breathe in hope.
Breathe out any doubt.
As you breathe,
Picture yourself sinking with the heart of God.
Like a weary traveler finding the steady rhythm of a strong companion on the road.
When you rest in his presence,
Healing moves faster.
Because he is the source of all life.
Isaiah 40 verse 31 says,
Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles.
They will run and not get weary.
They will walk and not be faint.
Remember who he is.
He is your healer.
He opened the eyes of the blind with a word and a touch.
He stood outside a tomb and called Lazarus back from death itself.
Saying,
Lazarus,
Come out.
The same voice that raises the dead is speaking life into you right now.
Nothing is too far gone for him.
Use your strength.
He is your rock.
He is your protector.
And He is your Healer.
Rest here for a moment in his presence.
Breathe in his peace.
Breathe out.
Every burden.
Feel your body relaxing into his care.
Your mind quieting in his truth.
Your spirit rising in His love.
Body,
Mind,
And spirit are being knit back together by the One who made them.
When you are ready,
Place one hand over your heart and whisper or pray.
Dear Lord,
I trust you as my healer.
Thank you for rebuilding my body.
Renewing my mind.
And reviving my spirit.
I am safe in your presence.
You are my rock,
My strength,
And my protector.
I receive your healing today.
Take one final breath in.
And let it out so very slowly.
Begin to waken your body.
As the breath grows bigger.
.
.
The body becomes more acclimated to movement.
Small and gentle at first.
Awakening slowly.
And when you're ready.
Feel free to open your eyes gently.
And carry this truth with you.
The same God who healed the blind and raised Lazarus from the dead is holding every part of you.
Your body,
Mind,
And spirit.
He is holding them in His tender care.
Yet powerful hands.
You are not alone.
You are never alone.
You are being healed.
And He is faithful.
Amen.
