I'm having a negative thought.

I'm making the time now to look at this thought.

Yes,

Negative thought,

I am checking you out.

I'm checking to see if you're true.

I'm looking to see if what you're seeing is helping me today.

Here's what a more accurate thought sounds like.

And here's what a compassionate thought looks like.

I am responding with the voice of positivity.

I am responding with the voice of love.

I am responding as a friend to myself.

I remember thoughts can be true or false.

I can observe without believing.

I can observe without internalizing.

I can observe without taking it personally.

I get how thoughts can be muddy or messy.

I'm practicing the awareness of when I'm having a negative thought.

It may be an automatic negative thought that's been around for quite a while.

I pause.

I breathe.

I center myself.

I replace each negative sentence with a positive one.

I communicate the new thoughts I want in my mind.

I am mindfully responding with love.

I am mindfully responding with clarity.

I am mindfully responding with care.

I step aside and allow all negative thoughts to pass.

I stand with the positive thoughts that are also here.

I am shifting from negative thinking to positive thinking.

I have the power to spot negative sentences in my mind.

I have the power to respond to negative sentences in my mind.

I have the power to change negative sentences in my head.

I live in positivity.

I live in truth.

I live in a place of mental strength.

I take care of my mind.

I nourish my mind.

And I keep caring for me.
