Greetings fellow traveller.
Thank you for joining me for today's meditation.
We are going to take a little break in nature again,
This time next to a gentle stream.
Going to allow this little chuckling current of water to carry our cares away,
Just for a spell.
Hit the pause button for a moment on everything else.
You can imagine that you are somewhere peaceful in nature,
Or you do this if you like,
Up to you,
If it helps to let your mind wander to somewhere like that.
Then you can.
If not,
It's all good.
There is no wrong way to do this.
So.
Find yourself a comfortable position,
Laying or sitting,
It doesn't matter.
You just need to be comfortable your way.
Settle into your space.
Start to relax.
Let your eyes flutter close if that feels good for you.
And when you're ready,
Take three big breaths.
And sigh them all the way out.
Whichever way is best for you.
And when you've done that,
Settle into a nice,
Gentle,
Rhythm.
Of breathing.
Whatever that means to you.
And let your attention Come to rest.
On the sound of the stream.
We don't need to focus too hard in.
Just let the burble of the water.
Flow by your ears.
And if any thoughts surface.
Take a breath.
Sigh it out.
Get a sense of the water flowing.
Over that place.
Where thoughts pop up.
And let them be carried away.
Your attention.
Rinsed smell.
Like a washed petal.
A string bass.
Feel.
Of the flow.
Of the world.
It's just carrying your cares away.
With each breath.
And each ripple of the water.
You are relaxing Now you're settled.
A little space.
So you can enjoy.
The stream.
And the comfort.
That you are cradled in.
I'm right here.
Which is going to let you enjoy a little quiet by the water.
If you need to recenter yourself.
Just take a breath.
Sigh it out.
And attend again.
To the stream.
I'll come to collect you.
In a couple of minutes.
We are going to squeeze out one more little moment of peace beside this stream.
With a poem that I wrote specifically for this meditation.
It's called The Spring Speaks.
Come close.
Wed your peace to my flow.
I have much to say.
Meaningless.
Like the purr of a lover on your next night.
I may not be able to shape the coastline.
But I'll carry your consciousness away.
Hand them that knife.
Just start to have a little wriggle.
Fidget those fingers and toes start to bring some movement back to the body anywhere you see fit Take a stretch and when you're ready.
.
.
Open your eyes.
I want to thank you so,
So much for spending time with me today to meditate.
It is an honor and I am so grateful for your presence.
May the rest of your day be blessed.
Till next time.
Bye for now.
