Greetings fellow traveller.
Welcome to this meditation practice for when you don't have much in the tank.
Sometimes life isn't always a walk across an open field.
Sometimes the way is tough.
And we can feel we don't have what we need for the day ahead.
Maybe because of poor sleep or a hard week,
Fatigue,
Illness or similar.
We've all been tired and had a sense of not firing on all cylinders at some point.
After all.
We are human.
This meditation is hopefully going to breathe a little fire on your coals so you can get over the hill in front of you.
And at the very least,
This is a moment for you to take time for a little self care.
Let's take up a sitting position ready to receive energy either on the floor or a chair or on the edge of your bed.
It's up to you.
Set up for a tall spine.
Open chest,
Hands face down on your lap.
Relax your jaw,
Relax your face and if it is right for you.
Close your eyes or soften your gaze.
Take three big breaths,
And sigh them out.
And then settle into a nice,
Easy rhythm of breathing.
Whatever that means for you.
We are going to bring our attention to the solar plexus,
Mid-belly,
Just under the ribs.
This is the power center of your body.
Known as the Manipura Chakra.
When we think of the word solar,
We likely think of the sun.
So let's imagine,
Sense,
Or get a feeling of a sun sitting in this space as we breathe into this part of the body.
You can rest one of your hands on the solar plexus if you like to guide you.
Breathe into this place.
Make those breaths nourishing.
Breathe deep.
And on your exhale,
If it feels good for you.
You can do a few breaths where you blow out with a little vigour.
Like so.
Think of these breaths.
Feeding your own personal sun.
You're blowing on your coals.
And with each breath,
Get a sense that that area is getting brighter,
Stronger.
Woman.
With each breath.
Your sun rotating steadily.
Shining cheerfully.
Just remember to keep that spine tall.
The chest lifted and opened and expands the solar plexus with the breath.
I'm going to stand back for a minute now.
And let you charge up,
Keep breathing like that.
And if your mind wanders,
Come back to the breath and solar plexus.
I will collect you in a minute.
We're going to put a little more fuel on the fire now with some affirmations.
So you can repeat these after me in your head or out loud.
It's up to you.
Here we go.
I have done more with less.
I have done more with less.
Showing up is enough.
Grace will do the rest.
Showing up is enough.
Grace will do the rest.
Whatever I do today is today's best.
No more,
No less.
Whatever I do today is today's best.
No more,
No less.
This too shall pass,
And all will be well.
This too shall pass,
And all will be well.
I have done more with less.
I have done more with less.
Good.
In your own time,
Take three big breaths inside and out.
Shake your body out a little gently,
Have a stretch and open your eyes.
Good.
Whatever you have to do right now,
Know this.
You are enough.
So be kind to yourself.
And do what you can,
No more,
No less.
Not every day is going to be a firing on all cylinders kind of day,
That's part of being human.
But if you need a little boost today,
Just remember you have done the work here.
Just take a big breath into your solar plexus and say,
I have done more with less.
You've got this.
I look forward to meditating with you again soon.
Take care.
Many blessings.
Bye for now.
