A daily body scan that trains interoception, the ability to sense what is happening inside you. Sitting or lying quietly, you move from feet to head, spending around thirty seconds in each region and noticing three kinds of sensation: temperature, movement including your pulse, and texture or pressure, describing each one specifically like a weather report for the body. A refined internal awareness is how you catch stress signals early, before they become a bad day, and regular practice strengthens emotional regulation. Best done at a consistent time each day. A few lines in a journal afterwards deepens the effect.
