Allow yourself to settle where you are and allow yourself to be here and just allow yourself to notice your natural breath at your abdomen.
Five minutes may seem like too short a time to meditate but the truth is,
Is that we live one breath at a time,
One heartbeat at a time and so we move into consciousness by simply taking one conscious breath at a time.
Allow yourself to feel your feet on the floor,
Your weight against the seat.
Allow yourself to rise up naturally through your spine,
Not straining but just the natural energy of life lifting you up.
Forehead relaxed,
Eyes relaxed,
Jaw soft,
To feel the natural breath moving your body.
Aware of the sounds around you,
Inside and outside of the room and perhaps you can be aware of the space between the sounds.
In the same way,
You can allow yourself to become aware of the space between the breaths and not worrying about changing your thoughts or silencing your thoughts.
Not worrying about changing your emotions but just meeting this breath with awareness and your mind will become quieter,
Your emotions will become yours and you'll feel the space both in the mind and in the emotions.
One conscious breath can transform your whole day.
One conscious breath bringing you into the awareness of your life.
And so this meditation is at an end.
Please allow yourself to continue as long as you would like to but if you must go on with your day now,
Allow yourself to take a conscious breath here and there.
