Hello and welcome to this evening meditation,
Designed to help you relax,
Unwind and rest after your day.
I invite you to find a comfortable position,
Either seated or lying down.
And just gently closing your eyes.
Taking a deep breath in now through the nose.
And out through the mouth.
Once again another deep breath in through the nose.
And exhaling and just releasing any tension from the day.
Nice deep inhale through the nose once more.
And as you exhale just letting all your muscles and all of your body relax to the surface beneath you.
We're now going to do a gentle body scan through your body.
Cleansing and releasing any energies from the day that you no longer need.
Feeling a cleansing,
Warming light around your feet.
Flowing through and around your ankles,
Your lower legs,
Same warm energy around your knees.
Flowing through to your thighs,
Around your hips,
Up to your lower back,
Your abdomen.
This energy working through and cleansing this whole area of your body,
Your whole midriff.
And flowing out towards your hands,
To your wrists,
Your forearms.
This cleansing energy making its way up through your elbows.
Simultaneously cleansing your upper arms,
Your chest,
Your ribs,
Your upper back.
This warm glowing energy flowing through you and all around you.
Makes its way up past your shoulders,
Your collarbone,
Your neck,
Front and back.
Up to your face and your head.
Clearing any thoughts from your mind and up through the top of your head.
As you feel a clean and calm energy flowing through you and buzzing around you.
And just breathe that in and exhale it out.
And I want you to bring to mind now things you feel you did well today.
Relying with the intention that you set for yourself.
Feeling how that feels and knowing that you can replicate that in the coming days and beyond.
How does it feel to have acted in alignment with your intention?
And now without judgment,
I invite you to bring to mind something that you feel you would have liked to have done differently today.
Something that you might change going forwards.
And as you observe that situation without judgment,
I invite you to mentally rehearse how you would like to act next time.
Go ahead and do that now.
And as you release that mental rehearsal,
You can just trust that it is sinking into your subconscious awareness.
And the next time that situation arises,
You will find it easy to act in that new way that is in more alignment with your intention.
Now as you inhale through the nose and out through the mouth.
I invite you to bring to your awareness how you would like to feel tomorrow.
How do you want to feel when you wake up in the morning?
How do you want to feel throughout your day?
What is the energy that you would like to cultivate tomorrow?
And as you let that thought go,
Just trusting that you are now planting a seed in your subconscious mind that will bring that feeling to fruition.
Now I invite you to bring to mind something that you would like to create in your life.
Perhaps in the next year,
Maybe the next six months,
Maybe this week.
Something that you would like to create in your near future.
Feel yourself in that situation,
That experience now.
And as you revel in the feeling of that experience,
Just taking a deep breath in through the nose and out through the mouth as you just let go of that intention.
Trusting that your subconscious mind,
Your dreamer,
The creative part of you will bring that experience to you in a way that is perfect for you.
Just trusting in that feeling.
And as you inhale one more time through the nose,
As you exhale out through the mouth,
Just relax.
Feel your body relaxing more and more.
When you're ready,
You can drift off to sleep.
