Hello everyone and welcome to this guided meditation on increasing your confidence.

In society sometimes we are told or we are shown that confidence is something on the outside,

Confidence is something that we create within us but we can cultivate and nurture and grow and harness to live a more fulfilling and joyful life and in this meditation we are going to be reprogramming our subconscious mind to be geared towards confidence in alignment with our higher selves.

So I invite you to begin by finding a comfortable seated position,

Sitting up nice and straight and just gently closing your eyes,

Feeling the contact of your body,

The surface beneath you and your connection to the ground,

Feeling grounded and present in this moment and just taking a deep inhale now through the nose,

Out through the mouth as you relax.

I'm now going to count down from 10 and as I descend through the numbers you'll find yourself becoming more and more relaxed.

10 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 and 1.

You now find yourself in a deep state of relaxation and calm.

Take another deep breath in through the nose and out through the mouth.

Now we're going to scan through our entire bodies to become more present,

More calm and more relaxed.

Start by bringing your attention to your toes,

To the soles of your feet,

Tops of your feet,

To your ankles,

Your calves,

Your shins,

Your knees,

Your upper legs,

Hamstrings and thighs,

Bringing your attention to the glutes and the space around your hips,

Just feeling a warmth around the area of your lower back and your abdomen.

So you rise your attention up towards the middle of your back and your torso and feeling a warmth spreading around these areas.

Bring your attention now to your chest,

The center of your chest,

Front of your chest,

Your upper back.

Feel the warmth of your inner light spreading from the center of your chest outwards throughout your whole body.

Bring your attention now to your shoulders and your neck,

Down to your upper arms,

Biceps and your triceps,

Down to your elbows,

Your forearms,

Your wrists,

Down to your hands,

Feeling that energy all the way through to your fingertips.

And as this energy fills your body now,

Feel that warmth spreading up your neck,

Up into your head,

Around the sides of your head and your ears.

Feel that warmth in the top of your head and around your face.

Feel that warmth emanating and spreading around your whole body.

Feel that warm energy now in the space outside of your body as your light grows and expands to the space around you.

Take a deep breath in now through the nose and breathe out through the mouth.

And now I want you to speak to that part of yourself that feels fearful,

That feels doubtful,

And that doesn't feel confident in a particular area in your life.

Feel where in your body,

That part of you resides.

Once you have connected with that part of yourself,

I want you to ask that part of yourself how old it is.

What is its age?

And now imagine that age version of you standing in front of you.

Happy and in awe of this current version of you.

You can say to that part of yourself,

Thank you for being here.

You are welcome here.

I love you and I hold a space for you.

And now it is time for us to be more confident and to step into the love and the greatness that we are.

You might want to give that young version of yourself a hug now,

Just embracing it in the warmth that you've cultivated within yourself.

As you take another deep breath in now through the nose,

Breathe slowly out through the mouth.

You feel your mind clear and your body relaxed.

And now I want you to bring to mind the area in your life in which you would like to feel more confident.

Think of that scenario now.

Now I want you to imagine yourself showing up as the most confident,

Most authentic and most empowered version of yourself.

Step into that situation as that person.

How will you speak?

How do you stand?

How do you feel?

How does it feel to be more of yourself?

Knowing that you are supremely confident and clear.

How does it feel to be more of yourself?

To be strong,

To be empowered,

To be present,

Really embrace that feeling in your body now.

Feel that confidence surging through you.

Feel it in every single part of your body as it radiates from your being.

Remember this feeling within you.

Know that you can call upon it whenever you need.

And that as you step back into daily life,

You do so with a new sense of confidence,

Of clarity,

Of authenticity,

And of awareness.

So that you can give your best.

Your gifts to the world as your unique expression of self.

Just take a moment now to enjoy that feeling.

Knowing that you created it.

Taking another deep breath in now through the nose and slowly out through the mouth.

Now I'm going to count up to 10.

And as I send through the numbers,

You'll find your awareness gently coming back to your body.

You will feel more alert and more awake,

More confident and more clear-minded.

One,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five,

Six,

Seven,

Eight,

Nine,

And 10.

Now bring your awareness back to your body.

And when you feel ready,

You can open your eyes and return to the world as a new,

More confident version of yourself.

Ready to show your full expression to the world.
