Welcome.

This is a one-minute meditation from MindfulScribe.

Owner and operator,

Joel Gaitis,

Licensed professional counselor and a meditation teacher.

Start with closing your eyes gently and just taking this short opportunity to check in mindfully,

Allowing the body to sink into its seated position,

Allowing gravity to take over,

Allowing our attention to just be on the breath for these 60 seconds,

Feeling the aliveness in the body,

The sensations,

The movement,

The flow of the breath,

Just being here.

You can open your eyes whenever you're ready.

Now as a simple reminder,

These short meditations are part of a series of meditations to help create that place in line,

To help build that habit.

So just like in our life,

If someone was holding our place in line,

These short meditations hold that place.

They become a foot in the door that we can over time increase the amount of time.

Good luck in your practice.
