Hello,
I'm Joanne and we're back here now with the third eye chakra tea.
The third eye is the sixth primary energy point in the body and is found on the forehead between the eyebrows.
Its Sanskrit name is Ajna,
Which translated means perceive and beyond wisdom.
It features two elements frequently associated with wisdom,
The upside down triangle and the lotus flower.
It's the seat of our intuition and the clarities intuition brings.
When the third eye is open,
You may have many eyes that see the world in full,
Vibrant color and then all of your senses are available to you as sources of wisdom and information.
It allows us to trust our intuition,
Be comfortable in our chosen path and also to be able to use both our feelings and facts to make those big decisions.
And with it being clear and open,
We feel as though we are living in harmony within ourselves.
When the third eye is overactive,
We are likely to feel overwhelmed and exhausted.
Our imagination may be in overdrive and this can cloud our intuition and our ability to discern between facts and feelings.
Things will feel unclear,
Unfocused and just an inability to sense what is happening around you.
When the third eye chakra opens,
You may feel a sense of pressure in between your brows,
Almost as though that invisible eye is opening up.
There could be a sense of tingling and warmth as the energy begins to flow.
It could also make your physical eyes more sensitive to light.
Its color is indigo,
Element is light,
Musical note is A,
Crystals are sapphire,
Celestite,
Labradite and celestite,
Animal is hawk,
Essential oils are sandalwood,
Bergamot,
Patchouli and vetiver.
Goddesses are Pythia,
Circe,
Hecate and the planet is the moon.
The wise woman archetype is the result of a fully balanced third eye chakra.
She is the voice of reason but also a voice of inspiration and faith in what is unseen yet felt.
Now the third eye chakra affirmations.
I trust my intuition and inner wisdom.
I open to the guidance of my higher self.
I see and think clearly.
I am connected to the wisdom of the universe.
My mind is calm and peaceful.
I trust my inner vision.
I am open to inspiration and insight.
I see beyond the illusions of the material world.
I am in tune with my inner knowing.
And I trust the process of life and my path.
So now the tea.
It's a mint tea.
And remember that we all have different tastes so check your brewing time.
Also as a precaution,
Some herbs have contraindications with medications etc.
So if you're taking anything,
Best to check that the herbs will not interact with them.
Now this tea is one part peppermint,
Half part spearmint,
Quarter part lemon balm and quarter part jasmine.
And the tea oracle card that was pulled today is rhubarb spiced tea.
So cut 10 stalks of rhubarb and place into a pot with 1 litre of water and 3 1β2 cups of sugar.
Simmer on low heat for approximately 2 hours until syrup develops and allow to cool.
Then boil 1 litre of water and place 2 star anise,
1 vanilla pod split lengthwise and scraped,
And 4 earl grey tea bags to brew for 10 minutes then cool.
And pour the rhubarb syrup into a jug,
Add the tea mixture and stir.
Serve in iced filled glasses.
And this is a fabulous good relaxing tea.
So have fun making this tea and the third eye chakra tea and I'd love to hear how they both go for you.
And the next one in the series will be for the crown chakra.
Till next time my dear friends,
Namaste.
