This 10-minute meditation incorporates the use of a powerful and effective self-love affirmation. The listener is guided to connect with their heart center and repeat the affirmation in order to change their mindset and teach their brain a new way to think about themselves as well as promoting the practice of self-love and positive affirmations. When you do this meditation choose a comfortable, quiet space in which to relax, somewhere where you will not be disturbed.

Find a comfortable,

Quiet space in which to meditate.

When you feel ready,

Just assume a position and posture that is comfortable and relaxing.

And close your eyes.

Make your focus and attention to your breath,

Breathing in deeply and slowly.

In through the nose and out through the mouth.

You continue to breathe in deeply and slowly.

I'd like you to begin to breathe in love.

And breathe out any negative thoughts,

Feelings or energy.

As you breathe in love,

Allow it to fill your whole body,

Every organ,

Every gland and every cell.

As you continue to breathe in love,

Visualise,

Imagine,

Feel,

Sense or know that your whole body,

Every organ,

Every gland and every cell is filled with love.

And breathe out any negative thoughts,

Feelings or energy.

As you continue to breathe in love and breathe out any negative thoughts,

Feelings or energy,

Place your hands on your chest and your heart centre.

And repeat silently in your mind or softly out loud the affirmation,

I love who I am today and I accept myself unconditionally.

And just continue to repeat the affirmation,

I love who I am today and I accept myself unconditionally.

I love you.

As you continue to repeat the affirmation,

I love who I am today.

And I accept myself unconditionally.

Feel the words.

Visualise,

Imagine,

Feel,

Sense or know that you truly love who you are today and you accept yourself unconditionally.

I love you.

As you continue to breathe in love and breathe out any negative thoughts,

Feelings or energy,

As you repeat this affirmation for the final time,

Just bring your awareness and focus back into your physical body and take three deep breaths.

And just begin to wiggle your fingers and your toes,

Stretch out your muscles and when you're ready,

Open your eyes and if you have a drink nearby,

Please do drink some water.

I love the recommendation to bring love into my organs and glands. I've never heard this in a meditation before and it brought my love into places that it is not normally drawn to: my brain, my lymph nodes, my stomach, my sexual and fertility organs, my gallbladder, my liver. Parts that normally are ignored, sometimes give my trouble and I feel I am unaccepting of, or function beautifully, but are unappreciated. I also love the relaxation at the beginning. I would have liked some in the middle too as I found myself sometimes tensing up when it was hard to let the love in. Thank you so much for this beautiful and effective meditation. Namaste.
