
Guided Body Scan With Healing Light, Binaural Beats

Meditation for relaxation and renewal. Journey through your inner landscape, infusing warm, healing light into every cell, tendon, tissue, and fiber of the body. The practice closes with a few rounds of gentle breathing up and down the central channel of the spine, rooting into the earth, and rising into the stars above.

And welcome to this guided body scan meditation.
This is for you to relax and restore any time of the day you might be in need of a little nurturing.
So you can explore this from a seated position,
Finding a comfortable seat,
Or if you prefer,
Lying down in bed or on a yoga mat.
Taking a few moments to get yourself comfortable as we scan through the body beginning from the soles of the feet.
And we'll traverse our way through the body all the way up through the crown of the head.
And we'll be holding our attention and awareness in different parts of the body and just allowing any softening that may be available to be experienced.
And with this meditation,
We'll also be playing with a little bit of guided imagery,
Engaging the imaginative faculty.
And so what we'll be doing is imagining or even sensing and feeling this warm healing light.
We're going to travel this light up through the body.
So feel welcome to play along,
Explore your inner landscape.
And just allowing your breathing to soften here.
Allowing your exhales to lengthen.
Allowing the belly to get soft as you breathe in and out.
Slowing everything down.
Just take note of how you may be feeling mentally,
Emotionally,
Physically,
Without needing to create a story around it right now,
But just simply becoming aware.
And then beginning with the soles of the feet.
Sensing into the soles of the feet.
The toes,
The webbing of the toes,
The arches of the feet,
Everything beginning to soften.
And imagining or even sensing and feeling this warm sphere of light.
It's about the size of a soccer ball and it's hovering about eight inches beneath the feet,
Deeper and deeper.
And as you place your attention beneath the feet and holding your attention in this warm healing sphere of light,
Allow the breath to deepen and start to sense and feel this warmth,
This healing start to infuse in through the soles of the feet.
Perhaps noticing a swirling sensation.
Traversing through the feet and into the tendons of the feet and the ankle joints,
The heel bone.
As you open,
Soften,
Breathe,
Relax,
Just drawing this light up through the shin bones and into the calf muscles.
Allowing the shins and the calves,
Tendons,
Tissue to soften,
Relax,
Swirling around this healing light.
Noticing it rise up into the kneecaps,
The cartilage glowing into the knee joints,
Placing your attention in the knee joints and breathe.
Just allowing for that warmth,
That softness,
That healing,
Might even feel a vibration in through the knees and up into the thighs,
The femur bones,
The muscles of the thighs,
Inner and outer thighs,
Muscles,
Tendons,
Tissues,
Bones,
Everything soft and relaxed.
Allowing this light in through the thighs and into the joints of the femurs,
The hip joints.
Feeling that glowing sensation,
This warmth,
This healing in through the hip joints and starting to circle around the pelvic bowl,
The sacral bone,
Just allowing this warm healing light to start to infuse into the bones,
Into the soft tissue,
The inner organs,
The whole pelvic bowl.
Starting to soften,
Breathe,
Relax,
Relaxing the belly,
The sacral bone into the lumbar spine,
The low back of the spine,
Starting to draw this healing infusion in and up through the spine,
Up through the mid-spine,
Glowing,
Healing,
Soften into the abdominals,
The solar plexus,
Just allowing this brightness,
This aliveness.
Breathing into any expansion,
Just exhaling anything you don't need to hold right in this moment,
Just allowing open,
Soft.
Feeling the energy lift up through the bottom of the heart,
The bottom of the heart and the lungs,
The bottoms of the lungs,
The rib cage,
The space behind the heart,
The spine behind the heart,
The front of the heart,
The tops of the lungs,
Right into the heart center,
Just placing your attention there and breathe and soften and open,
Just allowing this light to swirl through and circulate this warm healing light into the heart space and lifting up into the collar bones,
This lightness and radiating out into the shoulder joints.
And then with your attention in the left shoulder joints,
Starting to travel this light down through the upper arm,
Muscles,
Tendons,
Tissues,
Bones,
Just receiving this light,
Receiving this healing down through the elbow joint,
Down to the tendons of the forearms and the bones of the wrists,
The carpal bones into the palm,
The left palm starting to glow,
Maybe even feeling a slight vibration through the left palm.
Open,
Soften,
Breathe,
Relax,
Just allowing this light to circulate through the left palm into the left thumb and index fingers,
Starting to glow and brighten through the third finger and the ring finger and the pinky finger,
All five fingers of the left hand,
Bright and alive and back up through the wrist joint,
Back up through the elbow joint,
All the way up through the upper arm and the shoulder,
Gently shifting now over to the right side,
Into the right shoulder joint,
Just allowing that space within the breath and the body to receive this warmth,
This healing down through the right upper arm,
Muscles,
Tendons,
Tissues,
Bones and blood down through the elbow joint,
Swirling around through the elbow joint down through the forearm,
Tendons,
Tissues,
And the right wrist bones,
The carpal bones and into the right palm,
The right palm bright and alive,
Warm,
Healing light through the thumb and the index finger,
Third finger,
Ring finger and pinky finger,
All five fingers of the right hand,
Bright and alive,
Traveling back up through the wrist and elbow joint,
Back up through the shoulder joint,
And now landing in the center between the two shoulders,
Right beneath the throat,
Feeling the levity of the heart,
Just allowing the space to begin expanding as you travel up through the throat center,
It's a warm healing light,
Through the spinal column,
The tissue of the throat,
Open,
Soften,
Breathe,
Relax,
Just allowing this healing infusion in through the throat and now we're the back of the throat and the back of the skull,
Me placing your attention there and just breathe,
Just allowing this healing infusion up through the back of the skull where it meets the back of the head,
Back of the throat,
And starting to cradle through the back of the head,
The whole back of the skull,
Cradled and held in this light,
So it starts to gently envelop through the jaw,
The hinge of the jaw,
The jaw bone,
The teeth,
The tongue,
The roof of the mouth,
This warm healing light,
Softening into the inner gaze,
Allowing the inner ears to soften,
And just breathe in and out,
Soften the muscles in the face,
The space between the brow,
This warm healing light,
Sensing into the left hemisphere of the brain,
Sensing into the right hemisphere of the brain,
Sensing back into the left hemisphere of the brain,
This healing light over into the right hemisphere,
Sensing into the left,
Sensing into the right,
And just breathe in and out,
Taking a big breath in,
And as you exhale the whole of the skull,
Bright,
Soften,
Relax,
Up through the crown of the head,
Starting to soften through the central channel,
The crown of the head,
Open,
Soften,
Breathe,
Relax,
This healing light ascending up through the crown of the head,
And now place your attention about eight inches above the crown of the head,
It's like this sphere of light is now swirling gently slowly around,
About eight inches above the crown of the head,
Just like you can feel the sun shining down on you,
Starting to sense and feel into this warmth shining down on you,
Sense and tap into it,
And as you breathe in,
Breathe in from this space about eight inches above the head,
Drawing it down,
Down through the middle of the mind,
Down through the center of the throat and into the heart space,
Down through the central channel,
And as you exhale,
Sending it all the way down through the central channel like an elevator shaft,
Down through the solar plexus,
Down through the sacral,
Down through the tailbone,
All the way down through the hips and knees,
Ankle joints out through the soles of the feet,
Deep down into the earth,
And as you breathe in,
Drawing that light back up from the earth,
In through the soles of the feet,
Into the joints of the ankles,
Into the joints of the knees,
Joints of the hips,
Light up tailbone,
Sacral,
Solar plexus,
Holding it in the heart space,
And exhaling from the heart out through the throat,
Through the middle of the mind,
Out through the crown of the head and above cascading around the body 360 directions,
And if you'd like,
Continuing to play with this breathing pattern of breathing in through the crown of the head,
Drawing this light,
This healing in through the crown,
Down through the third eye,
Down through the throat,
Into the heart space,
And exhaling,
See how much you can sense and feel all the way down through the mid-spine,
The belly,
The sacral,
The root,
The hips,
Knee joints,
Ankles,
Out through the soles of the feet and down into the room,
And if you'd like,
Playing with this breathing pattern just continuing to draw the energy up through the body into the heart space,
Exhaling from the heart all the way up through and out up into the stars.
