Welcome back to the Flow Show.
I'm Joanna Turner,
Intuitive Mystics Mentor,
And we are going to dive right into the Winter Solstice Meditation.
This is a journey of release and renewal.
And just a quick reminder that this meditation has binaural beats in the background.
They are powerful,
So please don't do this meditation while you are driving,
If you are pregnant,
If you are unwell or have any major health conditions.
And also it is best used with earphones because you get the most benefit from the binaural beats.
The one in this track is called Balancer,
And it will help create balance between the seasons,
And especially for this solstice.
So I'd like you to get comfortable in a quiet space where you feel warm and safe.
We're going to be working with fire today,
So if you'd like to light a candle to represent the fire,
That would be a beautiful thing.
If you can't,
That's okay.
Just take a few moments to settle,
Close your eyes and take a deep breath.
Letting the exhale release all the tension from your body.
Taking another big,
Deep breath in and allowing your exhale to be longer than your inhale.
And again,
Taking another big,
Deep breath.
I know this time of year can be very busy.
There's a lot going on,
A lot of stresses,
A lot of things to do,
But just allow yourself to be here completely.
There's nowhere else to be,
There's nothing else to do.
Giving yourself this beautiful,
Sacred moment.
And take another big,
Deep breath.
Maybe move around a little bit,
Make sure you're really comfy.
And ideally with your back straight,
Whether that's lying down or sitting up straight.
Now I want you to imagine yourself stepping into a welcoming,
Cosy room.
The air is warm and soft and the faint scent of cedar wood fills the space.
In the centre of the room,
A fire burns brightly in a stone hearth.
It's amber flames flickering gently and casting dancing shadows on the walls.
Around you,
Everything feels inviting.
A beautiful plush armchair draped with a soft knitted blanket sits nearby.
The floor is covered with a thick rug and shelves line the walls,
Filled with books and trinkets collected over time.
A large window reveals the deep blue of the solstice night,
Stars twinkling like tiny crystals in the sky.
You sit down near the fire,
Feeling its warmth seep into your skin.
Take a moment to simply breathe here.
Inhale deeply,
Drawing in the comfort and the light.
And exhale slowly,
Releasing the weight of the day and the season and the year.
Now turn your attention to the significance of the winter solstice.
This is the longest night of the year,
A time to pause and reflect.
From this point forward,
The days will begin to grow longer.
This is the threshold,
A moment of transformation.
Feel the fire before you as a symbol of this transition.
The flames hold the power to burn away the old,
Creating space for the new.
They are a reminder of your inner strength and resilience,
Even in the darkest times.
Now imagine in your hands you're holding a small object.
It might be a leaf,
An ornament or just a stone or something significant to you.
This object represents what you are ready to release.
It might be a fear,
A habit,
A memory or a belief that no longer serves you.
I want you to take a moment to reflect and decide what that's going to be.
What are you holding on to that you no longer need?
I want you to imagine whatever you're letting go being placed into that object.
That's it.
And then visualise yourself bringing this object closer to the fire.
With intention you place it gently into the flames and watch as it catches light and begins to burn.
The fire transforming it into glowing embers and smoke.
Feel the release in your body,
A lightness,
A sense of freedom.
As the smoke rises imagine it carrying away the old energy into the night sky,
Dispersing it amongst the stars.
Whisper to yourself,
I let go,
I release,
I am free.
I let go,
I release,
I am free.
I let go,
I release,
I am free.
Now focus on the space you've created within yourself.
Feel the openness,
The possibility.
Imagine the fire growing brighter,
Illuminating a pathway before you.
In this light what do you see?
What hopes,
Dreams or intentions are waiting to grow in the returning light of the sun?
Picture yourself gathering those intentions in your heart as if you were planting seeds in fertile soil.
Speak to them silently or out loud.
I welcome and then state your intention.
I welcome,
I welcome.
Allow yourself to start to feel a sense of excitement and peace as you envision these seeds growing strong in the days and months to come.
As the days grow brighter and the sun grows stronger,
Imagine your seeds starting to grow,
Breaking through the top layers of soil and blossoming into everything you've ever wanted.
That's right.
And now I want you to imagine and create a sense of gratitude within your heart.
You might want to place your hand over your heart centre and feel gratitude for these beautiful seeds blossoming into everything that you wanted.
Say thank you for it already being done.
Thank you.
It's already been done.
Thank you.
It's already been done.
Holding that beautiful state of gratitude for as long as you can.
That's it.
Allow that beautiful feeling to fully integrate into your body.
Take some more deep breaths.
And now I want you to gradually start to bring your awareness back into this cosy room.
The fire is still crackling warmly.
And now it's light.
It feels softer and more settled.
Take a moment to thank the fire for its warm and transformation of power.
And then imagine yourself standing,
Walking to the window.
Look out at the solstice night once more.
And notice how the stars seem a little brighter now,
As if they're reflecting the light you've rekindled within yourself.
When you're ready,
Take a deep breath in,
Feeling grounded and renewed.
Exhaling slowly returning to your present space.
Start to wiggle your fingers and toes.
And when you're ready,
Open your eyes.
And repeat to yourself one more time.
I am grounded,
I am renewed,
And I walk forward with light and purpose.
I am grounded,
I am renewed,
And I walk forward with light and purpose.
I am grounded,
I am renewed,
And I walk forward with light and purpose.
Thank you so much.
May you have a beautiful sacred solstice.
May the long dark nights be beautiful as we welcome this turn of the season.
Take care.
See you on the next one.
