Hello babe,
Thanks for being here.
We're gonna dive into this meditation,
Mantra meditation,
For peace.
So go ahead,
Find a comfortable shape.
I'll introduce the mantra as we get into the practice.
Gently close down your eyes and just start to breathe here.
Let those shoulders drop down just a little bit.
You can flip your palms up so that they're resting on your lap facing up towards the sky.
Setting yourself up to come from a place of receiving.
As you take what you need from this time,
This meditation,
And eventually the mantra.
Taking just a few moments here to settle.
Just pay attention to your breath.
Watching your inhales,
Your exhales,
And those spaces in between.
Let those shoulders drop down just a little bit.
As soon as you're ready,
You can start to introduce the mantra with me.
So I'll invite you to begin repeating to yourself silently and internally in your mind the mantra shanti.
This is a Sanskrit term that loosely translates to peace.
So feeling tranquility in our own lives,
Hearts.
And allowing peace to really make its way into all the tiny little spaces of our day.
Beginning to repeat this at whatever pace feels best.
As you repeat shanti,
Feel the vibration of that word settle in around you.
Feel a quality of peacefulness enter your space.
Beginning your repetition now.
Shanti,
Shanti,
Shanti.
Whenever you get pulled away towards external distraction,
Just gently remind yourself to come back to this word,
Pull yourself back in.
Shanti,
Shanti,
Shanti.
Shanti,
Shanti,
Shanti.
Shanti,
Shanti,
Shanti.
Shanti,
Shanti,
Shanti.
Shanti,
Shanti,
Shanti.
Shanti,
Shanti,
Shanti.
Shanti,
Shanti,
Shanti.
Shanti,
Shanti,
Shanti.
Shanti,
Shanti,
Shanti.
Shanti,
Shanti,
Shanti.
Take a deep breath in.
And a deep breath out.
Resting here with your mantra for as long as you need.
Trusting that in some way,
Big or small,
It is inviting peace into your life.
When you're ready to close your practice,
Just move slow.
Thank you so much for being here.
And I hope you feel supported as you move through the rest of your day.
