Stand near your kitchen counter and begin your morning with gratitude while your coffee brews. Gratitude is the highest priority; let these words come before all else. In this guided meditation, breath-by-breath affirmations allow your thinking mind to easily dissolve into respect for your body and breath, and all the life surrounding you. This short grounding practice is my favorite morning ritual. I find that listening to bird song, subtle flowing water, and awakening music heightens my awareness and mindfulness for the day ahead.
