I invite you to practice this either seated or lying down in a comfortable position that best supports your body's ability to relax.
Wherever you are,
Just be sure you can devote your mental attention to listening to and then repeating these affirmations.
Begin by taking a breath in and let it go with a sigh and a drop of your shoulders.
One more time to tune out any distractions,
Inhale and release completely.
Open your heart and mind to accept the following affirmations.
Then repeat them silently or aloud three times with real intent.
My body is a self-healing entity.
My body knows exactly how to repair itself.
My body was designed with inherent healing mechanisms.
Every time I make healthy choices,
I support my body's natural ability to heal.
Minor setbacks are expected and I stay optimistic on my road to recovery.
There is nothing bad about my body.
My body is not my enemy.

Call your attention back to your natural breath,
The one that has been sustaining you throughout this practice.
Appreciate the work of your lungs and heart and all other organs and systems of your body that faithfully operate in the background of your consciousness.
