This diversity is by divine design,
For unity expresses itself through many voices and paths.
Yet,
This truth is foreign to human nature,
Which longs for certainty and definitive answers.
Resistance to this diversity has led to much conflict and strife across the centuries.
Despite this history,
Spirituality remains an invitation to your own direct relationship with the divine.
God,
The Source,
Wants you to find the spiritual beliefs that are personal to you,
Beliefs that bring peace,
Joy,
And meaning to your journey.
Spirituality cannot be reduced to a single set of definitive spiritual beliefs.
These beliefs are not static truths,
But living expressions of your relationship with the divine.
They are alive,
Evolving,
And uniquely personal to each of you.
You live in a world where spiritual beliefs are often handed to you by family,
Culture,
Tradition,
Teachers,
Or spiritual practices.
Many of you were taught that these beliefs must be fixed,
Unchanging,
And absolute,
As if there were one final truth to cling to.
But we tell you,
Dear ones,
The very nature of the divine contradicts such certainty.
For the Source itself,
The All,
Is unknowable and unthinkable.
This is not cause for despair,
But an invitation to discover in your own unique way a set of spiritual beliefs that support your soul in this incarnation.
They are not cages that confine you.
They are meant to enhance your human journey,
Bringing contentment,
Happiness,
And joy.
They are stepping stones from which you may glance higher truths.
And when those beliefs no longer serve,
You are invited to release them and step into a new understanding.
The journey of awakening and rising into higher consciousness can only unfold if you let your spiritual beliefs be malleable and continually refined.
Rigid beliefs create resistance and slow your growth.
