Shine

A song written in the western folk song tradition accompanied by banjo. As with many of this sort of song, the aim is simplicity with a repetitive structure including a chorus that is easily learned and sung. This makes the material ideal for mantra-like chanting. It celebrates humanity and our belonging to a vast network of souls. Despite on how small and insignificant we may feel from time to time, we need to remember that our best impulses are shared by all of humanity. We do, in fact, shine.
