Is doomscrolling distracting, but leaving you more depleted than before? We do need healthy down time- but what activities are leaving you more drained vs. rejuvenated? Let's discuss a key distinction and re-frame that will help you choose how to spend your next break with more intention.

Transcript

So I love this concept of attunement.

Attuning to a flow.

An alignment with possibility,

With your truth,

With your desire.

And there's so many times that we get so overwhelmed.

Myself included,

Or just packed and busy that we actually tune out,

Right?

We have that expression.

I just need to tune out.

I need to watch Netflix.

I need to,

You know,

Go grab a snack.

I need to just veg out,

Right?

Usually it doesn't involve eating broccoli though,

The vegging out.

So we have tuning out,

But normally that doesn't necessarily even,

It lets us like stagnate,

But it doesn't necessarily replenish us.

So instead of tuning out,

Is there a way that you can,

Tune in and that might be similarly relaxing in some way but you're actually aligning and centering with yourself and rejuvenating yourself versus trying to just go into a daze and have your eyes glaze over um so activities that are tuning in maybe you take a nice walk without your phone and just listen to the birds or look around you maybe you meditate um or just sit still and be without having to meditate properly but just kind of like up for you.

Um maybe you just enjoy the moment you're in whether that's like a a nice time to yourself to relax like a shower or bath just to kind of like cleanse or um Yeah,

There's so many different ways.

Like what are your ways of tuning in?

And when you do so,

Does it give you the energy to then do the next thing,

Be the next thing versus just continuing in this slump,

Like,

Right?

Where do we leak energy?

Instead of trying to restore it.

Tuning in.

Thanks for tuning in.
