The following meditation is designed for all of you who don't feel you have enough time to meditate.
I'm sure you have at least 10 minutes.
After all,
You are worth it.
This meditation is designed to simply help you relax,
Rejuvenate,
And become more peaceful and focused.
So just make yourself comfortable whether it's sitting or lying down.
Do try to have your feet and arms uncrossed so the flow of energy goes evenly throughout your body.
If able,
Place your hands on your lap or by your side,
Palms up,
A signal that you're willing and ready to receive universal healing and energy.
Now simply close your eyes and we will begin.
Take a long,
Slow,
Deep breath in through your nose and slowly exhale through your mouth.
Breathe in deeply again and exhale.
Feel your body relax.
Breathe in deeply again.
And as you slowly exhale,
Feel the muscles in your body letting go,
Your shoulders drop,
Muscles soften.
And just be.
Now bring your awareness inward to your breath.
It's gentle going in and out.
Not trying to force it in any way but simply being aware of its rhythm,
The cycle of breath.
You may even wish to say to yourself,
I am breathing in,
I am breathing out.
Use it like a mantra,
I am breathing in,
I am breathing out.
This helps you to stay focused on your breath,
Allowing all other sounds around you to help deepen your state of relaxation even further.
And let go.
Now bring your awareness all the way down to your feet and imagine if you can that your feet are planted firmly on the ground.
You can feel the softness of the grass,
The warmth of the earth.
You feel connected to her,
Strengthened by her.
Now take it even further and imagine if you can that you have roots coming out of the bottom of your feet.
And these roots go down through the sand,
The dirt,
The rocks,
The gravel,
All the way down to the very center of the earth.
Once here,
They wrap themselves around the most beautiful black onyx.
And now when you breathe in,
You draw up the shiny black light from the onyx,
Up the roots of your feet.
And you breathe it into your body.
It moves up the muscles of your legs,
Around your knees,
Your thighs.
Everywhere it goes,
You feel that part of your body relaxing and letting go.
Any pain,
Any stress is absorbed by this beautiful healing black light of Mother Earth.
You breathe it up and through your hips,
Your buttocks,
Around your abdominal area.
All the muscle groups,
The organs there are surrounded in this beautiful healing light.
It moves up your stomach area,
Up into your chest,
Filling your lungs,
Your heart,
Taking away stress and pain,
Emotional pain,
Physical pain.
Allow it all to go into this light.
Allow this light to move up your back,
Your lower back,
Spreading across your middle of your back,
Working its way around your spine,
Across your shoulders,
Going deep,
Deep inside.
It moves up your neck.
And you allow it to settle there,
Across the shoulders and neck where so much of pain and stress is carried.
But for this moment,
You allow it to be released.
Allow this healing black light to take it on.
And you send this light down your arms,
Your upper arms,
Your elbows,
Your forearms,
Into your wrists,
Your hands,
Your fingers,
And letting go.
Feel the muscles soften.
Feel yourself sinking more into your chair,
Becoming relaxed.
You move this black light up your throat and into your face.
You feel it move around your jaws and ears.
And you might be surprised at how much tension is there.
But now when you exhale,
You can let that tension go into this black light.
And you allow the light to move around your eyes and forehead and just release the tension.
And allow the black light to move down your scalp,
Moving even into your hair as you let go.
And allow yourself to just simply be one with your breath,
Be in this moment.
You deserve this time for rejuvenation.
Allow all the worries,
The stresses that you've been carrying to go into this healing light.
And as you do,
You look up and there's a beautiful ray of golden light coming down.
And it gently and lovingly touches the top of your head.
You begin to breathe it in.
And as it comes into your body through the top of your head,
It ever so gently pushes the black light.
And as it pushes the black light,
It moves out through the bottom of your feet where Mother Earth takes it.
She will purify it,
Recycle it,
But takes it away from you.
And your body is replaced inside with this beautiful golden light.
It's soft and soothing like liquid honey.
It moves down your face,
The back of your head,
Your neck,
Your throat,
Filling you with this beautiful golden light and connecting you to the universe.
It moves across your shoulders,
Down your arms,
Your hands,
Your fingertips.
And as this golden light comes into your body and the black light with all the stress,
All the hurt and pain,
Negative emotions is taken away and replaced with this loving golden light.
You are reminded that you are part of this vast universe.
And yet the universe is within you.
You carry the DNA of the cosmos in your system.
And now you bring it in and allow it to move down and fill all of your torso,
All the way down your spine,
Down through your buttocks and hips,
Your thighs,
Your knees,
Your calves and shins and down into your feet until you become a vessel for this beautiful golden light.
And you just breathe and feel it and accept it.
And relax.
And then you see before you a beautiful ball of white light,
Sparkling,
Brilliant light.
And it comes towards you with every inhalation until it completely envelops you.
You feel this light as it touches your skin,
Tingly,
Energizing,
Yet calming.
Everywhere you look is this love of the divine.
The creator surrounds you,
Reminding you that you carry this light within you.
You bring your awareness to your heart center,
Which is in the center of your chest,
And there you see a white flame.
Now,
Now that this light of the creator surrounds you,
That you're reminded that it is always there,
You just need to bring your awareness to it.
You begin to breathe in this light into your heart center until it becomes greater and greater,
Larger and larger,
Until you now are filled with this white light.
And you are reminded that the creator is within everything around you,
That you see the people that you encounter.
Somewhere within them is the spark of the divine,
Just as it is within you.
And you allow the spark to grow within you,
To spread that love within you,
Reminding you how greatly you are loved,
Unconditionally,
Always.
And you just breathe and feel it move through you.
And you give thanks for the blessings in your life.
Even during those times when it's difficult to see the good,
Know that it is always there.
And just breathe.
And you begin to bring your awareness back to your physical body,
How it feels,
More relaxed.
And you will come out of this meditation more focused,
Feeling lighter,
Feeling grateful.
And you take a long,
Slow,
Deep breath in as you did at the beginning.
And slowly exhale.
Breathe in deeply again.
And exhale,
Feeling very much relaxed and alive,
Focused and calm.
Breathing in again.
Exhaling.
Now take one more long,
Slow,
Deep breath in,
And end your meditation with the sound of Aum.
Breathing in.
Aum.
And then just sit quietly for a moment,
Reflecting upon your meditation,
Allowing this light,
Love and healing to flow through you and around you.
