
Let Go Of Stored Emotional Stress

Are you looking to release some stored emotional stress from your body and mind? This gentle guided meditation titled "Letting Go" allows you to easily and effortlessly release pain, anger, grief, sadness, guilt, hurt and frustration from you body and mind. Releasing stored emotional stress can allow you to feel calm, at peace, and more present in your day to day situations. Please do not use this audio if you are dealing with immediate and acute emotional trauma.

Please do not use this audio while driving or operating heavy machinery.
Find yourself either seated upright in a comfortable chair or laying down somewhere you won't be disturbed.
This self-hypnosis audio is going to allow you to let go of the old emotional baggage that is no longer serving you.
The reason it can be difficult to let go of these old emotional pains from the past is because your unconscious mind does not yet know it's safe to do so.
It is trying to protect you,
Trying to keep you safe from experiencing the same pain again in the future.
Although consciously you know these old emotional energies are holding you back and costing you dearly,
Your unconscious mind clings to them to keep you safe.
This audio is going to show your unconscious mind that it is safe to finally let go of the old and unresolved emotional energy that is no longer serving you.
All it takes on your behalf is a willingness to feel and a willingness to heal.
If you haven't already,
Let your eyes close down and take a moment to honor yourself for being here and doing this important inner work.
In order to release these old emotional energies,
You must first allow your mind and body to relax.
To do that,
We're going to take some breaths together.
In a moment,
I'm going to ask you to breathe in deeply through your nose,
Filling your abdomen all the way up,
Pushing your belly out,
And then simply let your air out through your mouth.
It's going to sound like this,
Deeply in through your nose,
Just letting the air out,
Letting it relax.
So we're going to go for 10 breaths.
So follow my lead.
So deeply in and out,
Deeply in and out,
Deeply in and out,
Deeply in,
Let go,
Deeply in,
Let go,
Deeply in,
Deeply in and out,
Deeply in,
Let go,
Deeply in,
Let go,
Deeply in,
And letting go.
Now just take some time to notice your body.
Notice the music pulsing through your body.
As you feel your body vibrate and feel amazing and alive,
Letting go of emotional energies is as simple as letting go of tension in your body.
So now I want to ask you to pay attention to your forehead.
Notice the tension that you're holding in your forehead.
And now I want you to consciously let that tension go.
Let the muscles of your forehead relax and melt away to nothing.
And notice the difference,
How it feels.
Are we now to do the same thing in your jaw and your cheeks?
Notice any tension that you're holding there and just let it go.
Let those muscles switch off and relax.
Tension your eyelids.
Just melt away.
Beautiful.
Now pay attention to your shoulders.
People carry so much tension here.
I want you now to use this skill of letting go and let go of all of the tension that you feel in your shoulders,
Allowing the muscles to relax and melt away.
Now notice your arms and your hands hanging or sitting beside you.
And I want you to switch off the muscles of your arms.
And as the muscles of your arms relax,
Notice how they're becoming heavier,
Heavier,
And heavier.
Now notice the tops of your thighs,
The backs of your legs,
And allow any tension in your legs to simply melt away,
Moving that wonderful,
Relaxing feeling throughout your entire body.
Now into your feet and your calves.
Notice any tension you're holding in the back of your legs.
Notice any tension you're holding in these areas and just simply let it go.
And notice the tension just melt away.
Now take a deep breath in through your nose and breathe out through your mouth.
And just scan your body and notice how relaxed it feels after you've let a lot of this tension go.
Now even though you're feeling quite relaxed,
You're able to get even more relaxed.
Three to one.
And then I'm going to say,
Let go.
I want you to let any tension that's remaining switch off.
Let all of your muscles just go loose and floppy.
Three,
Two,
One,
Let go.
Let all those muscles switch off as you find your body feeling heavier and heavier.
And again,
Three,
Two,
One,
Let go.
All those muscles switch off.
The last little bit of tension leaving your body and your mind.
And now notice your entire body,
Entire body,
How amazing and relaxed it feels and how nice it is to let go.
Now in front of you is a river.
This river is very cleansing.
It's very safe.
I want you to jump into the river and find yourself floating on your back,
Feeling supported by the water.
Notice the cool water touching your skin.
Notice the sound as you see yourself looking up at the sky.
It's a beautiful clear day and it feels so amazing to be in this cleansing water.
Now the further you travel down this river,
The more relaxed you become.
You find yourself starting to drift down the river,
Feeling supported and feeling safe.
And you find yourself letting go and more,
Not a care in the world,
Completely at peace,
Completely relaxed.
You continue to drift as the river supports you and allows you to let go of any further tension.
Now in front of you is an island in the river.
You find yourself floating on the water.
You find yourself coming onto this island.
It's a grassy knoll.
You find yourself standing at the top of a staircase,
Leading down into a cave.
I want you now to start walking down the staircase on my count and with each step that you find yourself going down,
You become more relaxed,
You become more relaxed.
Starting at the top at number 10,
8,
7,
6,
5,
4,
Finding yourself at the bottom of the staircase.
And in front of you is a door.
You open that door with ease and you walk inside.
You walk down a long dull hallway and you feel how it feels cool in here,
Feels safe in here and it feels very peaceful to be here.
At the end of the hallway,
You notice a suitcase sitting on the ground.
This suitcase is the old unresolved emotional energy that you're ready to let go of.
This old emotional energy that is no longer serving you.
I want you to pick up the suitcase.
How does it feel?
Is it heavy?
Is it awkward?
This baggage that you've been carrying around,
Notice how it feels and what would you call it?
Is it anger or sadness?
Is it grief?
Is it fear?
Just notice what this piece of baggage represents.
Now I want you to open this suitcase and I want you to feel what's inside of it.
And as you open this suitcase,
You feel the emotional energy of the past in your body.
You might feel it as a pit in your chest and not in your stomach or a tightness somewhere else in your body,
Your throat perhaps.
I want you to notice how this energy feels in your body.
And I want you now to allow that energy to be there.
I want you now to allow that feeling to bubble up inside you.
Feeling this old emotional energy is how you tell your subconscious mind that it's safe.
It's okay.
It's okay to be there.
Allow this energy to bubble up.
Welcome it.
Invite it.
It might feel a little bit uncomfortable,
But that's okay because this will pass.
The old emotional energy will bubble up and then start to melt away.
I want you just to sit with this.
Allow this feeling to be there as you welcome this old emotional energy.
Stay with it.
Feel the emotion,
The old emotional energy coming up in your body.
Use your breath to allow it to move through.
Just breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth.
Now this energy will start to leave your body.
It'll start to change.
Once you feel emotional energy has bubbled up and has started to dissolve,
I want you to close the suitcase back up.
And notice how it feels now when you hold it.
Does it feel as heavy?
Does it feel as awkward?
Ask your unconscious mind if it's ready to safely release this old piece of emotional baggage.
Just wait for the answer in a feeling.
Is it a yes or is it a no?
This old emotional energy has been staying around because it's been trying to keep you safe,
But it's no longer serving you.
You got a yes.
It's time to let that old emotional energy.
I want you to carry that suitcase back up the stairs,
Back out the door to which you came.
I want you to find yourself back up on that grassy knoll.
Now in a moment,
You're going to cast that suitcase,
That piece of old emotional baggage and the energy that goes along with it into that cleansing rift.
But before you can let it go,
Your unconscious mind first needs to learn the lesson.
To your right,
You'll see a whiteboard with a green pen.
Now before you can let this old emotional energy go,
I want you to write on the whiteboard,
What is the one big lesson that my subconscious mind needs to know in order to safely release this forever?
10 seconds to write your answer.
Finish writing your answer there now.
There might be more than one,
But these lessons are how your subconscious mind can finally let go.
Take the luggage,
The suitcase,
The old emotional energy to the riverbed.
With honor and reverence,
I want you to place it into the river and thank it for serving you.
I want you now to let it go.
Feel it drift out of your hands.
Drift out of your hands.
I want you now to watch it float down the river.
At the end of the river,
It's a bright white light.
And when you see that suitcase,
The luggage,
The old emotional energy hit that white light,
It dissolves into nothingness.
When it dissolves,
Notice how you feel.
Take a deep breath in and out.
Big sigh of relief,
Knowing that this has left your life forever.
Behind the whiteboard is another version of you,
A version of you that is completely free of this old emotional energy.
I want you to look at this person,
This higher version of you,
And I want you to notice how do they look themselves.
Notice the smile on their face.
Notice how relaxed they look.
Notice how peaceful they look.
What sort of things does this person say to themselves?
Are they kind and supporting?
Are they loving?
I want you to listen.
Listen to what you hear this higher version of yourself say.
And lastly,
I want you to notice how they feel.
Notice the energy that they bring.
Notice the lightness,
The vibrance that they have.
It's now time for you to step into this version of yourself and become that higher version,
Free of all of the old emotional energy of the past.
So in a moment,
I'm going to count from one to three.
And when I reach the number three,
You're going to step into that person,
Thumb and your forefinger together and give it a squeeze.
And when I reach the number three,
Give it a squeeze.
So take your thumb and your forefinger of your left hand and hold them just apart.
For one,
Feel the energy between your thumb and your forefinger start to build with anticipation.
Bring your thumb and your forefinger closer together for number two.
Feel that energy rising.
And three,
Bring your thumb and your forefinger together,
Give it a squeeze and step into that higher version of yourself,
Feeling a tingle go up your spine as you adopt their energy,
You adopt their posture,
You adopt everything about them.
You become this person.
Give your thumb and your forefinger a little squeeze.
As you feel that energy build up in your chest,
To get a sense of what it feels like to be this higher version of yourself,
This version who is free of all of that old unresolved emotional energy.
And notice how good it feels.
Take a deep breath in.
As you breathe in,
Feel the energy of your chest grow and expand like oxygen to a flame and feel that energy start to travel throughout your entire feeling your whole body tingle.
Notice the smile on your face.
Notice how happy and light you feel.
I ask you to come back.
When you do,
You're going to bring this version of yourself back with you,
This lighter,
Higher version of yourself.
So I'm going to count from one to three.
When I do,
I want you to open your eyes and find yourself back here in the here and now,
Bringing that same feeling,
That same vibrance,
That same frequency of your higher self.
Okay,
One,
Two,
Three.
Open your eyes.
Find yourself back in the here and now.
And notice what remains.
Notice that energy,
That lightness,
That peace,
That calm.
Notice how it still remains.
I'm going to allow you here to relax and enjoy this new state,
This new version of yourself.
Congratulate yourself and honor yourself again for doing this important work.
And well done for releasing some old emotional energy that was no longer serving you.

This is honestly the best meditation Iโve done on this app! Thank you so much for doing this itโs the first one Iโve found where I had a deep emotional release and feel so much lighter Iโve done this every day for a month and I believe getting rid of the deeper emotions is putting anxiety out of a job in the mind anxiety doesnโt have to protect me anymore because Iโve cleared the deeper emotions thank you jake fantastic!
