We're going to begin by taking three deep cleansing breaths in through our nose and out through our mouths.
As we take these breaths,
We're going to allow all imagery to fade from our minds until we are left with a brilliant white light in our mind's eye.
Continue to breathe deeply in through your nose and out through your mouth as you hold this white light in your mind's eye for just a few more seconds.
In the middle of this pool of white,
A spot of pink emerges.
Allow that spot of pink to spread and spread and spread and spread until it has engulfed all of the white and you now have a pink field in your mind's eye.
Allow that pink to deepen and deepen and deepen until we're left with a brilliant red in our mind's eye and hold that red for just a moment.
Just a moment.
Out of the red that we're holding in our mind's eye,
A scene begins to emerge.
You're standing in a green place with grass and trees and a dirt path under your feet.
You begin to walk forward down the path,
Walking deliberately,
Taking note of your pace.
Look around you and make note of how your meadow looks.
What types of trees are you seeing?
How tall is the grass?
Is the sky blue?
Are there clouds?
Allow your meadow to manifest in your mind as you continue to walk down the dirt path.
As you continue to walk,
You glance back and notice that everywhere you've stepped,
Flowers have sprung from the earth.
Take a look at those flowers.
What colors are they?
What types?
As you continue to walk,
You continue to glance back and see that the flowers continue to spring with your every step.
You then begin to walk a little bit faster until you're skipping,
And finally you're running down this path,
In this meadow,
With flowers springing up at each landing of your foot.
Take note of your direction.
Are you only moving forward?
Are you moving in circles?
Have you turned?
As you continue along,
As you continue along,
The outline of a building becomes apparent in the distance,
And you begin to run towards it.
As you get closer and closer,
It begins to morph and change,
Until what appears before you is a home,
Your home,
Your dream home,
However that looks to you.
Take a moment and allow this home to manifest in your mind.
Walk a bit closer and closer still,
And finally you place your hand on the door and open it.
And as you walk inside,
You look around from side to side,
And make note of everything that's in this lovely home of yours.
Take note of what you see.
How big is it?
How is it decorated?
You continue to explore,
Walking around,
From place to place within your home.
And finally,
You come to a place where you see someone there.
Take a moment and let that person manifest in your mind.
You step towards him or her,
And you reach out and embrace them.
And the two of you stand for just a moment,
In a comfortable embrace.
After a moment,
You release one another gently.
You take one more look into his or her eyes,
And then you turn back towards the door,
From where you came into the house.
You walk back out the door,
And as you exit and begin to walk down the path,
Once again,
The scene begins to fade.
The images begin to fade,
And all becomes lighter and lighter,
Paler and paler,
Until we're left again with the brilliant white in our mind's eye.
Let us take three more deep cleansing breaths in through our nose and out through our mouths.
