Welcome to another guided crystal meditation.
In case we haven't met yet,
I'm Erin Holland,
Rachian crystal healer and teacher at Ivy and Light.
It is an honor to share this space with you today as we meditate using the energy of smoky quartz.
This is one of my favorite crystals for grounding negative energy and relieving stress.
Before we begin,
Go ahead and settle into a comfortable seated position in a quiet and calming space.
Make sure that you will not be disturbed for the duration of this meditation so that you can experience its full benefits.
Now go ahead and place your smoky quartz in your dominant hand.
This is the hand that radiates energy outward.
So by holding your crystal here,
We are increasing the release of negative energy and stress,
Flowing it out and away from the body.
Let's begin our meditation by gently closing our eyes and taking a few deep cleansing breaths.
In through the nose and out with a sigh.
Focus on breathing in fresh,
Calming air and breathing out the stale air,
Literally releasing that stress and negative energy with each exhale.
In and out.
In and out.
In and out.
Now turn your attention to your smoky quartz resting in your dominant hand.
Feel the energy of your crystal through its warmth.
Maybe even you feel a gentle vibration.
Take a moment to thank your crystal in advance for all the help it's going to give you today.
Thank it for drawing away stress and grounding any negative energy or emotions.
Now we will begin our simple healing journey.
I want you to imagine with me that your smoky quartz is shifting and changing its form,
Changing and reforming and remolding itself until now you hold instead a little log cabin nestled in the palm of your hand.
There is a little path leading to this cabin and you begin to stroll down the path and your crystal cabin gets larger and larger as you approach.
You notice that there's smoke billowing up through the chimney.
That means there must be a cozy fire inside.
You walk up to the front door.
It's red with a little window right in the middle.
So you peek in and you see a warm and inviting great room full of comfortable furnishings and pretty paintings hung on every wall.
Now you open the door and immediately you are greeted by the smell of cedar wood paneling and the sound of the crackling fire.
In the middle of the room is an antique Persian rug and a comfy looking couch of beautifully aged leather.
You walk over to the couch and you take a seat.
Now glance around taking in all the beautiful and inviting qualities of this room.
Now suddenly you've got an urge to take off your shoes and warm your toes by the fire.
You wiggle your toes and you feel the heat of the fire like a warm hug.
This couch is so cozy that you decide it's the perfect place for an afternoon nap.
So you choose one of the decorative pillows and you make yourself at home laying down with your feet still pointed at that roaring fire.
There's a blanket on the back of the couch so you pull it down and snuggle underneath.
Closing your eyes you listen to the crackling fire.
You feel yourself warming gently and all your muscles relaxing as you sink deeper and deeper into the luxuriousness of the leather couch.
All your worries begin to melt away.
With each breath you release a little more of the stress of life.
All the stresses float away up the chimney and out into the forest drifting far far away.
As you doze on the couch you start to think of all the things to be thankful for.
And now you start listing them to yourself one by one.
Halaas.
Your list is getting longer and longer,
And really you could probably go on forever,
But the fire is dying down,
And so you decide it's time to return to your day.
Slowly you sit up,
Taking one huge breath in,
And releasing that last little bit of stress from your body.
You stretch and yawn,
Waking your body after this relaxing nap.
Slowly you reach for your shoes,
Put them back on,
And tie up the laces.
You stand up and you warm your hands for a moment by the fire.
Now it's time to tidy up,
So you replace the throw and fluff the pillows.
As you walk to the front door,
You have this wonderful realization that you can return to this cabin anytime you need a little break from your schedule,
And a little relaxing time in front of a cozy fire.
You close the door gently behind you,
And retrace your steps down the path.
You feel the crystal cabin getting smaller and smaller as you stride through the forest.
At the end of the road,
You turn around and you see that the cabin has returned to its original form of your smokey quartz.
And now you're once again seated comfortably in your meditation space.
You feel relaxed and refreshed,
And so,
So grateful.
Take a moment to thank your crystal once again for helping you release those stresses and restore your positive energy.
Before you return to your day,
Take a few more cleansing breaths and repeat this affirmation.
My worries melt away,
I'm ready for my day.
My worries melt away,
I am ready for my day.
And once more,
My worries melt away,
I am ready for my day.
Now gently open your eyes,
Wiggle those toes,
Maybe take a good stretch and yawn.
You may also wish to take a minute to write down some of your gratitude list you created during this meditation.
Writing all those things down can help this gratitude energy last throughout your day.
Now we've reached the end of our meditation.
Thank you so much for allowing me to join you in this sacred space and time.
May you be blessed with peaceful,
Positive energy and renewed excitement for the day ahead.
Until next time,
Love and blessings.
