
Let's Manifest Stuff!

What do you really really want in your life? Peace? A relationship? A new car? Pure joy? It’s all possible but there are a few tricks that can assist us in making this all happen! Changing our thoughts is a great place to start!

Welcome to The Flow with Lori Albert.
How is everyone today?
Hope you're having a wonderful day so far.
So today we're going to manifest stuff.
Let's talk about manifesting stuff.
Right?
I mean,
It's perfect timing.
It's towards the beginning of the year.
And you know,
I think a lot of people don't exactly know all of the sort of nuances.
I mean,
I think a lot of people know,
Okay,
Manifesting is creating stuff to happen for you,
Right?
Whether it's getting a new job,
Getting a new car,
Or a parking space.
That's like my favorite thing and I've said that before,
I know.
But whether it's that or just creating peace for yourself,
You know,
That is manifesting.
Okay?
But here's the deal.
I think that a lot of stuff gets lost in the shuffle with the word manifesting and how to manifest,
Right?
So what I want to talk about today before we meditate on this,
Of course we have to meditate on it.
There are a few things that go a little bit deeper.
And so for the next actual couple of days,
What I'm going to do is I'm going to go over different points,
Tricks,
Tricks,
Not the best word to use there.
But little things that we can do to help ourselves start down the road of manifesting.
A lot of people are like,
Oh yeah,
Let's manifest,
You know,
And then they bing,
Bam,
Boom,
And then it doesn't work.
And so they wonder,
They think to themselves,
Well,
Forget this,
You know.
Manifesting comes with or goes along with the law of attraction.
And the law of attraction,
The law of attraction is a lot about cause and effect.
So if you start thinking about,
If you start thinking about,
I want this car,
Right?
You can't just say,
I want a car,
I want a car,
I want a car,
I want a car.
You have to kind of get into the thoughts of it,
Right?
But that's,
And that's like,
A lot of people know that and Wayne Dyer,
Esther Hicks talk a lot about that kind of stuff,
Right?
However,
There's another little aspect to that,
That Wayne Dyer actually talks about a lot that I think needs to be pointed out.
When we decide we want to start manifesting things,
We have to start to sort of recognize our thoughts and recognize what they are.
Are they,
And there is no right or wrong here.
That's the whole fun part,
Right?
So are they good thoughts?
Are they bad thoughts?
Are they judgmental?
Are they critical?
Are they,
You know,
Whatever,
Are they grateful thoughts?
Okay.
What are your thoughts surrounding a different,
Well,
You know,
Here's the thing.
I really want a Mustang,
But a car,
You know,
The Mustang car.
I really want a Mustang,
But you know,
What are my friends going to say?
You know,
Is everybody going to think that I'm being,
I don't even know,
Is everybody going to think that it's a midlife thing?
All these different thoughts of like why you shouldn't have it or all these different thoughts about other people that have it.
Oh,
I want a Mercedes.
Well,
If you want a Mercedes,
Then own it.
Want the Mercedes,
Go for it.
You know,
A lot of people don't work it that way.
They don't think about it that way.
They think,
Oh,
Am I,
Can I do that?
Am I allowed to have that?
You know,
That sort of thing.
It's like,
Oh,
You know what,
When I make more money or something,
I'll do that.
So here's the point.
We have to be understanding of what our thoughts are.
And Wayne Dyer talks a lot about this and that's why I love him so much.
But we need to recognize those thoughts and we need to turn them around.
And I think that's the point.
Instead of thinking,
And if you catch yourself,
And it's kind of a habit that needs to be broken a little bit,
Right?
But when you catch yourself and you start to realize,
Oh my gosh,
I'm,
I feel the,
I mean,
I can hear the judgmental stuff,
Judging myself,
Judging other people.
Then you can start to change those thoughts.
But you have to recognize them first.
And that is one of the little tricks that we need to focus on and get good at.
Okay?
So basically when you catch yourself saying,
You know,
I really like those Mercedes,
But I,
I look at all those people that have Mercedes,
They have a lot of money and I don't have a lot of money and this and that and everything else.
But guess what?
So we catch that and we turn it around to,
Why can't I have a Mercedes?
Why can't I,
You know,
Maybe I,
Maybe some of those people don't actually make as much money as they think they,
As I think they do.
I deserve that.
And you know what?
I'm grateful that I can even consider it.
And I can,
I can afford that if I choose.
So there you go.
Right?
Now here's the thing.
There's all kinds of caveats there.
When you decide you want to manifest something,
It's not necessarily like you're going to get it for free.
Okay?
You can manifest that.
But a lot of people think,
Well,
If I want a new car,
Then I want it for free.
That's just it.
Well,
Okay.
But you need to manifest that.
I wanted me personally,
Laurie,
I wanted a white Mustang convertible and I got it.
I pay for it every month,
But guess what?
It was reasonable and I was able to make that happen.
So does that make sense?
I mean,
You know,
You can manifest it.
I probably,
But I'm not like the master manifester,
You know,
I know how to do it and I've gotten some amazing things this way,
But you know,
We have to be reasonable,
I think,
You know,
So we're going to meditate on this today.
We're going to meditate on catching our thoughts,
Changing our thoughts to ones of positive thoughts,
Gratitude,
All of that stuff.
Okay?
So let's get ourselves comfortable.
Okay.
So you know,
I've taken too lately.
I used to sit cross legged while I was doing my meditations,
But lately I've been sitting barefoot with my feet barefoot on the floor and there's something grounding about that that I just love.
So do whatever feels right for you though.
Okay.
Whatever feels right for you.
If you want to sit with your feet on the floor,
Then do it.
If you want to sit cross legged,
Then do it.
Whatever feels most comfortable.
So,
All right then.
Let's get ourselves comfortable.
Whatever feels good for you and let's take a nice deep breath in and release it.
Great.
Wonderful.
So what are you grateful for today?
What is some positive,
What are some positive things happening to you?
Could be anything.
Let's just talk about three things that we are grateful for.
Now pay attention to how you word that.
How do you word what you're grateful for?
I'm grateful for my health.
I am grateful for this time every day that is just for me.
For us.
Grateful that I get to help people learn how to manifest,
Learn how to meditate and create a life that they choose.
What are you grateful for?
And further to that,
Who are you being when you are at your best?
What are you being?
Adjectives.
Are you being peaceful?
Are you being grateful?
Are you being compassionate?
Are you being grateful?
Are you being grateful?
Are you being compassionate,
Loving,
Peaceful?
You are at your best.
Who are you?
Who are you?
Who are you?
Our mantra for today is I am grateful.
I am grateful.
I am grateful.
I will keep the time.
If you lose the mantra,
You can always come back to your breath.
Concentrate on that.
Let's begin.

Whenever you feel comfortable,
You can open your eyes.
Very good.
So today,
When you find yourself with thoughts of judgment or anything negative,
Anything that's not of the highest order there,
Just catch yourself and say,
Love you.
Say that to yourself because you're saying it to yourself.
I love you.
Love you.
And you can giggle when you say it.
I give you permission.
I do that all the time.
I'll catch myself in an errant thought and then I'll be like,
Love you.
And of course,
You guys know I laugh all the time anyway.
That's what my goal is for 2021.
