So are you feeling a little off?
Are you feeling a little bit off today?
The last couple of days?
Maybe not quite communicating like you normally would?
Kind of feeling a little bit down for no reason?
Yeah,
A lot of people are feeling a little bit down for no reason and all of that stuff.
Well,
So much is happening in the stars,
Let's just say,
And it's a very interesting time,
Right?
So why I'm asking those questions is this.
We are in the pre-shadow,
Today is the January 28th,
We are in the pre-shadow of Mercury being retrograde.
Isn't that great?
Aren't you happy?
So yeah,
On January 30th is when Mercury goes retrograde.
Now here's the big question.
Why do we care?
Why do why do why do people talk about it so much?
What does it mean?
What does it mean when Mercury is in retrograde and why do we give a crap,
To be honest,
Right?
Well here's the deal.
Mercury is,
And this is why it gets so much,
I think,
Commercial sort of awareness.
Mercury is the planet of communication and technology and sort of thought,
Like emotional thought,
You know,
That sort of thing,
Right?
And I think that's why it's so prevalent because it actually does affect our sort of tactile life.
Like we can actually feel it.
We can actually see when people are driving like maniacs on the road and you're thinking,
Why all of a sudden is everybody driving like a maniac on the road?
Right?
So that's that,
You know,
Or why is my computer on the fritz?
Or why why is my iPhone screwing up?
Oh there's nothing worse,
Right?
Because it affects everything.
And I'll give you a little helpful hint.
If you have travel plans,
Which I know we're kind of not supposed to travel,
But if you if you have travel plans right now,
You may want to double and triple check.
Yes,
Drivers are wild right now,
Right?
Right.
So this particular,
And then to add on to that,
This particular retrograde period is taking place in Aquarius,
Which is an air sign.
Air signs are thinkers.
So because Mercury is about thinking,
The thinkers are kind of overthinking,
Right?
And it heightens that.
It heightens what what is going on in my life.
It heightens all of that,
Right?
So so all of that being said,
It sounds really dire and everything,
But it's just not.
It doesn't have to be,
Okay?
This is how I deal with it,
Okay?
This is how I deal with Mercury being in retrograde.
I know things are gonna screw up,
And that sounds like I'm a little Debbie Downer,
Right?
But here's the thing.
If we go through life thinking everything's perfect,
Then it's you're gonna be let down,
Right?
Being realistic,
I think,
Is part of the deal for me anyway.
So if I think that things might be kind of gonna screw up,
I'm just more aware.
I'm in more of a present place,
If that makes any sense,
Okay?
I know,
And I've talked about this many,
Many times,
But I'm gonna go back to my three P's for dealing with when Mercury's in retrograde,
Or you know,
Really pretty much any time in life.
But when times are challenging,
I go to my three P's.
Positivity,
Patience,
And persistence.
Because if we can keep those three things alive in our life,
That will lessen the drama that is gonna come along with what's going on in with,
You know,
The stars doing whatever the stars are doing,
Whether it's Mercury retrograde or whatever.
Patience,
Positivity,
And persistence.
Those three things,
Which I love anyway,
You know?
I mean,
Here's the thing.
If you're on the road,
And you're driving down the road,
And somebody is driving like a maniac,
Right?
And if you can remember those three things,
Patience,
Obviously that's gonna help the situation,
Right?
Positivity of,
Like,
In my world,
What that means for that is,
Like,
You know what?
That guy's driving kind of nuts,
But you know what?
Maybe somebody's in the hospital,
Or maybe there's something wrong that he's driving like that.
That's kind of where my head goes,
You know?
And then persistence.
Just keep going.
Mind your own business,
And just keep going,
Right?
So that is what we are meditating on today.
I hope that makes sense.

Okay,
Let's get ourselves comfortable,
Because I want us to have a beautiful,
Uplifting meditation today.
Okay,
So let's get ourselves comfortable.
Close your eyes whenever you feel like it's the right time for you to close your eyes.
Let's take a nice deep breath in.
You know,
And don't forget,
A deep breath can do so so much.
A deep breath can do so much for where you are in in your life right now.
I have a friend who's going through so so much craziness,
Right?
I just keep saying,
Breathe,
Breathe,
Breathe.
What are you grateful for today?
What do you feel good about today,
And what do you feel grateful for?
I am absolutely grateful that it's gonna rain today.
I could not be happier.
I am grateful that I get to share this meditation with everybody every day.
