Welcome to this guided meditation session.
Let's begin by removing any distractions around you.
Turn off any devices that might interrupt you and sit comfortably in a quiet place.
Find a sitting posture that allows you to be relaxed yet alert.
Close your eyes and take a brief moment to find your posture,
Keeping in mind that balance between relaxation and alertness.
But now reflect on a time in your life when you felt really good about having attained a goal.
It could be anything that you have accomplished,
Big or small.
What goal do you feel really proud of?
What choices and actions did you make?
What were some of the little things that led up to it?
Consider how you've added value,
Either in situations or to other people.
And now reflect on some things that you've normally got done over the course of a day.
Recall all the ways in which you influence others or have played a leadership role,
Perhaps in your family,
Among friends or in business.
Bring mindfulness to some of the positive choices you've made and recall any empowering experiences that led to feelings of accomplishment,
Satisfaction and confidence.
See if you can open up to these feelings,
Bring them to life and let them fill you.
Allow them to become more intense in your mind and your body.
Let's take a moment to practice in this way,
Keeping these feelings in mind and allowing them to grow and expand.
Let's take a moment to practice in this way,
Keeping these feelings in mind and allowing them to expand.
You have made these things happen.
You are competent and confident.
You are effective and you will continue to be so.
Be mindful of any other feelings that may arise,
Like dignity,
Self-respect or a sense of belonging.
If you happen to feel any resistance to this sense of success or worth right now,
That's okay and completely normal.
See if you can gently bring your mind back to remembering some of the good feelings that you have.
Feel the sense of accomplishment and confidence completely sink into you.
And remember that you can tap into this feeling at any time by consciously bringing your mind back to your mind.
You can also use this practice to get a sense of how good it will feel like to accomplish something,
Even the little tasks of the day.
When you feel satisfied with meeting your goals,
That contributes to build your confidence and wellbeing.
Let ease spread through your body and mind now.
Release any pressure or dryness and bring your attention to your breath and stay there for a few moments in silence.
And whenever you feel ready,
Gently open your eyes.
