Introduction: Different Flowers In The Same Garden
In this first lesson we approach the topics equally. Reminding ourselves that this course is an introduction to the similarities and differences that these traditions hold. That while they may be in the same garden, they are entirely different flowers.

Virtue & Ethics: A Common Foundation
In this lesson we will discuss how both Buddhism and Stoicism use the ideas of Virtue and ethics as the foundation to their way of understanding life and living a good life, but also go into how they differ slightly in their approach and perspective.
Lezione 3
Impermanence & Non-Attachment: A Shared View
In this lesson we will approach the ideas of Impermanence and Non-attachment. Each of these hold a key place in both Buddhism and Stoicism, however one takes it much further and in a different way than the other. This does not mean one is lesser than the other, but that it is simply a matter of place and perspective.

Self Control & Mindfulness: The Path itself
In this lesson we approach two topics which are well trodden in both Stoicism and Buddhism as well as many other of the worlds traditions. We touch lightly on both of these topics as they both go ever deeper, but in this lesson we see how they approach them from separate viewpoints.

The Present Moment: Touching & Interacting With Here and Now
In this lesson we approach the idea of the Present moment through three different perspectives of presence. That of the Therapeutic, The Joyful, and the Mindful aspects of this present moment and the way in which both Buddhism and Stoicism work within those realms.

Closing Thoughts & Considerations
In this lesson Silas shares his closing thoughts on this introductory course to the similarities and differences of Buddhism and Stoicism. touching back on each topic mentioned.
