Welcome to this short meditation called Connecting with Aphrodite for Beltane.
Find a comfortable position,
Either seated or lying down,
In a space where you feel safe and relaxed.
Close your eyes and take a deep breath in and exhale.
Take a moment to bring your awareness to your body.
Feel the gentle rise and fall of your breath,
The warmth in your chest,
The coolness of the air.
Let yourself soften into this moment,
Grounded and present.
Now envision yourself standing at the edge of a shimmering sea,
The soft waves gently lapping at the shore.
The sun is low,
Casting a golden glow across the water and you feel the warmth of its rays on your skin.
This is Aphrodite's realm,
The birthplace of love,
Beauty and all things sensual.
As you stand there,
You sense her presence.
She approaches,
Radiant and alive with divine energy.
Aphrodite stands before you,
Her beauty unmatched,
Her smile warm and welcoming.
She embodies love in all its forms,
Playful,
Tender,
Passionate and free.
Take a deep breath and with each inhale,
Feel her energy infusing your body,
Filling you with a sense of sacred sensuality.
Let her wisdom flow through you,
Awakening parts of you that are eager to be seen,
Celebrated and loved.
Now gently place your hands over your heart.
Feel the warmth of your own love and affection radiating outwards,
Just as Aphrodite does.
She invites you to embrace your own beauty,
Your own sensuality,
Your own desires.
Let go of any shame or judgment and allow yourself to fully accept who you are.
Feel the pulse of the earth beneath your feet,
The vibrant energy of Beltane stirring through you.
You are a part of this living,
Breathing world of beauty and creation.
Just like Aphrodite,
You are a vessel of love,
Capable of giving and receiving.
Take a moment to set an intention for this season.
Perhaps it's a wish for deeper self-love,
More playfulness or the courage to express your desires without fear.
Whisper your intention to the sea,
To Aphrodite and allow her blessings to infuse your words.
I am love,
I am beauty,
I am worthy of all the joy and pleasure the universe has to offer.
Feel her energy wrap around you,
A warm embrace encouraging you to step forward with confidence,
Passion and joy.
As you take one final deep breath in,
Feel Aphrodite's energy surrounding you like a golden pink light.
Know that you carry her blessings with you,
A reminder to live with pleasure,
Love and grace.
When you're ready,
Gently bring your awareness back into the room,
Feeling the earth beneath you and the rhythm of your breath.
Open your eyes,
Carrying the energy of Aphrodite and Beltane with you into the world.
