Lover,
Loving human,
Love is what you came to give,
And love is what you are,
What you came to receive.
And yet,
Why is your offer of love not appreciated?
I feel you.
Sometimes it seems like you are not wanted with this gift of an open,
Loving heart,
Your love,
Your sacred offer.
And I'd love to tell you,
Yes,
You are generous.
Yes,
You are brave.
Opening your heart is a risk that sets you apart from many people on this planet.
Not everyone got this courage.
Opening your heart is courageous because you give the world an opportunity to break you.
Do you feel broken,
Abused,
Unseen,
Unwanted with your loving generosity?
People crave love and there's nothing they fear more.
Before I ask you three questions,
I want to say thank you.
Thank you for still daring love.
Thank you for choosing love again and again.
It's not a matter of course.
It's not given to everyone.
It's easy to close your heart and choose bitterness.
You are not choosing the easy path.
You choose the path of healing,
Of truth.
And it may not feel like it,
But this path is the most rewarding.
Your pain is a reflection of your sacred ability to love,
Honor it.
Only those who love feel pain.
You are a warrior.
And here are my three questions I want to ask you.
First,
Does your love come from a source of abundance or a source of scarcity?
When you answer this question,
You will recognize whether your love is free.
If it comes from an inner abundance of love,
Your inner vessel is already filled and you have love that naturally flows outwards because you have enough love for yourself.
You give without effort.
You make an offer of love and it does not tear a hole in your inner being if it's not accepted.
If your love comes from an inner lack,
Then it always comes with an expectation that it will fill a hole inside of you.
What hole do you want this love to fill?
Someone to feel for you,
A connection to feel for you?
Love yourself first.
People are afraid of a love that puts them under an obligation to feel something for you.
They don't want to be closely responsible for your fulfillment.
Second,
Is your love free?
What hole in you do you want this love to fill?
The second question I want to ask you is this.
What image about love keeps you trapped?
Which image scares you the most at the idea of having to let it go?
Most of the time this is the image that holds you most captive.
An image about relationship,
About partnership,
An image of perfection about how love is expressed,
Communicated or even proven.
Which is the image that you hold most strongly and least want to let go of?
And what if once,
Just for you,
Simply as a game,
You let it go?
What space emerges from there?
Breathe through it.
And here's my last question for you.
What learning are you still receiving from offering your love to people who are not ready to receive it?
If you ask your soul,
Why does it still seem important for you to have this experience?
What's in it for you?
The soul does not categorize good and bad experiences.
It only knows growth through healing.
What healing is the potential of this pain you feel?
What wound do you need to heal in order to break this cycle?
Are you ready to accept it?
Thank you for having the courage to ask yourself these questions.
You are whole and healing and you are love.
The earth loves you unconditionally.
The cosmos carries you unconditionally.
You can never fall out of love.
You are safely carried in this web.
You can heal.
I believe in you.
