Hello and welcome to Intuition Awakening.

My name is Janine.

As we prepare for sleep tonight I will be guiding you through deep sleep hypnosis.

Please know that this meditation is meant for sleep so please listen only when your attention is not needed and you are able to fall into a deep and restorative sleep.

As we journey through this hypnosis if your body is called to fall asleep partway through just know that that is perfect.

Let your body fall into a restful state and deep sleep and know that your subconscious mind will continue to listen even though you may not be aware.

If this is your first time trying self hypnosis welcome or if this is your hundredth time I hope that this finds success with you.

Just know that all hypnosis is a form of self hypnosis and that you can return to full alertness and full awareness any time you need to during this meditation.

If you hear an alarm or perhaps your children needing your attention just know all that is needed is to simply open your eyes and you will return to full alertness.

So now as we begin this journey to deep sleep I want you to check in with your body and your sleeping position right now.

Are you comfortable?

Are you warm?

Make any adjustments that you need to really prepare yourself for sleep now.

Now as you are comfortable lying on your mattress floor perhaps your couch wherever your final resting position is for the day gently bring awareness to your breathing.

Taking a deep inhale and a long exhale through the mouth and again inhaling deeply and exhaling really extending that exhale relaxing the body and one more inhale and exhale.

Wonderful.

Let's bring awareness to where our body touches the surface beneath us.

Feel into the sensation of heaviness perhaps a warmth or coolness beneath you.

Feel where your skin touches the mattress,

Your clothing or perhaps you feel the air against your skin just noticing whatever sensations are here.

Inhale deeply again and exhale noticing any areas of tension remaining in your body right now.

Perhaps there is tension in your neck or shoulders.

Perhaps you need a pillow beneath your knees.

When you notice these areas of tension just gently breathe in and breathe out imagining these areas relaxing.

Notice how relaxed your body is becoming simply because we are bringing our focus to relaxing.

Your body is allowed to unwind.

There is nothing more it needs to do before you fall asleep tonight.

Notice how calm your breathing is becoming and notice how still your body has become simply because you have allowed it.

Now using our still active brain using our powers to visualize and use our imagination I want you to visualize yourself at the top of a staircase.

You notice the steps below you and you notice there are ten.

At the bottom of the staircase you see a beautiful clearing lined around its edges by trees and shrubs and long grass.

This space feels so familiar to you,

So comfortable and so calm.

Placing your left foot onto stair number nine you feel drowsiness starting to fill your body.

As you step down to step eight relaxing even deeper.

At step seven noticing at some point your eyes closed naturally ready for the restful sleep ahead.

Down to step six feeling a heaviness in your limbs.

Step five noticing how relaxed you can become.

Step four the racing thoughts in your mind are calming down.

Step three calm and relaxing even deeper now.

Step two feeling a gentle breeze across your arms.

Step one smelling the meadow you're about to enter into and as you step on to the grass in the clearing relaxing even more.

You imagine taking a deep inhale feeling how comfortable and familiar this space feels to your body.

Feeling the cool grass beneath your bare feet.

Feeling that gentle breeze across your arms and feeling the sunshine beaming down upon this meadow.

Off in the distance just a short walk away you see a perfect space in the grass to go and relax even further and you walk towards this spot.

When you reach this place you feel how happy this spot makes you.

The view is wonderful the breeze is just right and you settle in to a comfortable seated position in this cool grass.

A smile comes across your face and you take a deep stretch of your arms and your shoulders as you gently lean back to let the Sun kiss your face to let the breeze move through your hair and you feel so happy here.

You notice that any stiffness or tension you had in your body today is suddenly easing is suddenly melting away in this beautiful place and your body feels as calm as it has ever felt.

You don't remember the last time you felt so good.

You notice too that all your thoughts your spinning mind it's suddenly calm.

It feels so good to not be worrying or stressed but to be feeling calm and peaceful perhaps even a little drowsy in this beautiful place.

The smile growing ever bigger on your lips as you just let this meadow bring joy to your heart.

You start to notice some small sounds of birds perhaps of small insects and perhaps the hoof beats of deer in the trees that line this meadow's edge and you know that your spirit is here with you your guardian angels and they are sending a messenger to come speak with you now.

This spirit may take the form of an angel or perhaps one of the animals from the edge of the clearing and it starts to come towards you slowly.

You see it so clearly and know deep in your heart that this spirit is safe and full of love for you.

You welcome the spirit closer curious knowing that it has a message for you.

Your spirit would like to share its message from the divine with you now.

Do you accept the message as they speak it clearly to you now?

You thank the spirit for this gift for this beautiful message and you spend a few moments together basking in the Sun in this meadow.

Your spirit says you have now created this safe space in your mind and you are welcome back at any time.

This is your meadow.

This is your safe space to unwind and relax.

Your spirit wishes you a restful restorative sleep and starts to glide slowly back towards the meadow.

Alone once more you feel a yawn coming from your lungs and escaping your mouth.

You know it is now time to rest.

Standing slowly again noticing how loose and rejuvenated your body feels,

You slowly leave the meadow and walk back towards the staircase.

As you stand again at the bottom of the staircase and place your first footstep down on stair number one,

You look affectionately back over your shoulder at the meadow deeply knowing that it is here at any time for you to return to and relax in.

You turn back to the staircase knowing that by time you reach the top of step 10 you will fall asleep.

Step two,

Feeling how relaxed your body and mind have become.

Step three,

Feeling a gentle weariness.

Step four,

Noticing your eyes blinking heavier and heavier.

Step five,

Feeling another yawn escaping your lips.

Step six,

Doubling your relaxation.

Step seven,

Entering into sleep.

Step eight,

Gently drifting off to sleep.

Step nine,

Step ten,

Good night and namaste.
