Week 7 Heart Let's begin by closing our eyes and taking a few breaths.
Just normal,
Simple breaths.
What does it feel like to breathe?
And holding your hands over your heart,
I wonder what it feels like to feel your heart beating.
What does it feel like to breathe?
What does it feel like to breathe?
And now opening your eyes and gazing upon the world in this moment,
Not only with your eyes but with your heart as well.
Perhaps the heart can perceive of the world around you as a piece of art that has never been seen before.
What does it feel like to breathe?
What does it feel like to breathe?
Notice how each moment can be its own aesthetic reality.
How nothing is ever the same.
How beauty moves.
What does it feel like to breathe?
What does it feel like to breathe?
And noticing that you are not simply an observer of this world,
That you are a part of the art as well.
What does it feel like in the body that knows it belongs in this moment?
What does it feel like to breathe?
Perhaps awakening the intelligence of the heart,
You might even be able to perceive that which is beyond your senses.
How perhaps you can perceive that there is an energetic flow that connects all beings and all moments.
What does it feel like to breathe?
What does it feel like to be alive?
What does it feel like to be alive?
What does it feel like to share your aliveness with the world around you?
What does it feel like to be alive?
Where does your aliveness end and the aliveness of the world begin?
What does it feel like to be alive?
Bearing witness to this moment,
Can you find yourself in nature?
What does it feel like to be alive?
Bearing witness to this moment,
Can you find nature in yourself?
What does it feel like to be alive?
What does it feel like to be alive?
As we come to the end of this exploration,
Take a few moments to simply be here,
Noticing what it feels like to be in your body,
Here in this place and in this moment.
Let's take a few moments to be here.
Let's take a few moments to be here.
Let's take a few moments to be here.
Simply noticing what it feels like to be here,
Perhaps a story will arise from the body.
Let's take a few moments to be here.
And if a story does arise,
Then perhaps just noting it in your journal for later.
As we come to the closing,
Let's take one more breath.
