Within everybody there is an inner voice of the soul.
Some call it the conscience,
Some call it the inner compass.
But it has the capacity to guide us and direct us towards a life of integrity,
A life of love,
Compassion,
Generosity,
Honesty.
When I listen to the conscience at work and in my daily actions I begin to feel a sense of dignity,
A sense of self-respect.
When I listen to the conscience I am able to honor my being.
But to do this I have to be able to pay attention to my thoughts.
So I prepare myself to learn to listen to my own inner being.
In this moment I go within and I sense the energy contained within the physical body.
I relax into that space of stillness within my being and I sense myself as the soul sitting on the throne of the forehead watching all the thoughts,
All the perceptions,
All the feelings,
Not judging,
Simply watching.
When I have this practice of going within and listening and observing my thoughts I will be able to hear the conscience and when I'm at work,
When I'm in my daily actions,
I will be able to pay attention so that in the moment when I come to a crossroad where I have the choice to choose to listen to the conscience or to listen to my own weaknesses,
I will have the power to make a good decision but only if I am watching my thoughts,
Only if I am paying attention.
When I have this practice I begin to lead a life that is in alignment with my higher qualities.
My work becomes filled with honesty,
With generosity,
With compassion.
When I listen to the conscience I begin to feel a sense of dignity within so today I promise myself I will stay seated on this throne of the forehead and watch my thoughts and listen for that inner voice that is there to guide me towards a life of dignity.
