Find a erect and dignified posture.

A posture in which you feel strong and powerful.

Either on a cushion,

On the floor,

Or against the wall.

Set aside a little bit of time for yourself.

Take a moment to settle into the body.

Connect with your breath.

Notice where your attention is.

Notice where your attention is.

Wherever it is,

Just invite your attention to spend a couple of moments with you right now.

Invite yourself to be present.

Fully in the here and now.

Take a couple of breaths to relax into your seat.

Relax into your regal posture.

Carrying any external thoughts away with each out-breath.

Away with each out-breath.

Bring your attention to your forehead.

To your face.

Noticing your eyebrows.

Your eyes.

Your nose.

Your lips.

And your ears.

With each inhale,

Inhaling gratitude for your face.

For the way that it signaled what you were thinking,

What you wanted to say so you didn't have to use words.

For the way that it has represented you in a way that no other face could.

With each inhale,

Inhaling gratitude.

With each exhale,

Letting go of any discomfort,

Insecurity.

Any negativity that you may harbor about this part of your body.

Moving your attention to the neck.

Inhaling gratitude for the way that it's held up your head,

Stabilized your spine,

Connected to your shoulders.

Extending that gratitude.

Down the upper back.

Bringing the attention to the chest.

Inhaling gratitude for the protection it's provided.

For the cushion and hugs.

For the strength.

Releasing any insecurity on the exhale.

Releasing any,

I wish this was smaller or larger on the exhale.

Inhaling gratitude for how your chest has served you.

The integral part that it plays in your body.

Bringing the attention to the arms.

Inhaling gratitude for their ability to lift and carry items however large or however small.

Releasing any judgments on the exhale.

Extending gratitude into the belly.

For its ability to digest.

To grow.

To nourish.

Releasing any comparison to other bellies on the exhale.

Releasing any insecurity on the exhale.

Just extending gratitude with each inhale.

Extending that down into the hips,

The reproductive organs.

Gratitude for their ability to stabilize the body.

To the reproductive organs,

Their ability to produce life and pleasure.

Releasing anything that does not serve you on the exhale.

Extending gratitude down into the legs.

Starting with the thighs.

To the knees.

Down into the calves.

Gratitude for their ability to move the body.

The ability to walk.

To stand.

Maybe just their presence.

Releasing any not enoughness on the exhale.

Releasing any comparison on the exhale.

Showering the legs in gratitude.

The head down to the leg.

Gratitude.

Thanking the feet.

Or supporting the weight of your person.

For all of the ground they have traversed.

For you.

Releasing anything that does not serve you on the exhale.

Extending gratitude for all of your unique features.

Your hair,

Your nose,

Your eyes,

Your skin,

The color of your skin,

The texture of it,

The texture of your hair,

Its color.

Gratitude for representing you in a way that no one else's features could.

Place one hand over the heart.

The other hand over the belly.

Take one long in-breath.

Feeling the gratitude swell from your feet,

Through the legs,

Into the heart.

Exhaling back down like a shower.

See if you can feel yourself surrounded by it.

Soak that in.

Knowing that there is only one you.

No one can do it quite as well as you.

To close we'll take two breaths.

Breathing into the chest,

Into the hand.

Releasing into the belly.

Long in-breath into the chest.

Feeling with gratitude.

Letting that wash over on the exhale.
