Deciding to change meditation.

So you have decided to change.

Things are not going the way you would like.

You are looking for a direction,

A way forward,

A new life and a new beginning.

It is already here but you cannot see it with all the cobwebs of life.

We begin by clearing the cobwebs with a simple breathing exercise.

This is the very beginning of your change.

Change is easier than you might think but it is your persistent thinking that prevents you from moving forward.

It is also your belief that things cannot change with a great effort and sacrifice.

But it is that idea of great effort and sacrifice that creates all of the doubt.

To be able to change is having the ability to just be you.

Being you is not what you think it is or what you have learned it to be.

You are more than just flesh and bone.

You are an energy on a journey of self-discovery.

An energy that is part of a greater energy that is all creation and will be for the rest of time and beyond.

The energy you are has been given the opportunity to discover all there is to know about everything you could ever perceive.

You have been given free will which allows you to become whatever you desire.

Becoming who you want to be begins with your thoughts.

Your thoughts are more powerful than you think.

Each thought is a seed ready to be watered and fed so it can grow into whatever you want this life to be.

In the cobwebs of life we get lost in the thoughts of others and the seed we plant brings us to places we do not want to go.

We must practice letting go of old thoughts and the thoughts of others by first learning how to breathe.

It is a simple exercise that can be done anywhere and at any time of the day.

It is the most powerful exercise you could do for change as it will help you empty old thought patterns of energy and bring in the new.

So let's start with this exercise and begin to clean the cobwebs of life and bring in new energy and new ideas of how you would like your life to be.

Simply close your eyes now and imagine that you have lots of thoughts you do not need.

You would like to release them as they do not serve you.

You would like to empty out the trash and make way for newness.

Take a full deep breath in and fill your chest with as much air as you can possibly manage.

As you are breathing out focus on anything that may be troubling you.

It may be a past event,

A present event,

A future event.

It may be a recurring thought that keeps coming up.

As you breathe out I want you to see that thought being expelled out and into the air outside in front of you.

Look at that thought now and give it a shape or a colour.

Now take a deep breath in again and as you blow out watch that shape or colour move out further in front of you so you can see it more clearly.

This is an energy you have created.

Look at it carefully and decide whether you want this energy residing in you.

Do you want to release this thought?

Do you want it to just float away and be absorbed into the atmosphere and that same energy to be transformed into something more positive?

Energy can be manipulated into anything you desire.

So take another deep breath in fully and blow that thought out even further and watch it get smaller and start to be absorbed into the atmosphere.

See it break up and come apart and slowly disappear into nothingness.

It is gone now and it's been used for other purposes.

If you like send your intention with it.

A good intention that may help someone sick perhaps.

Someone that may need help in some way.

Ask that energy to transform into a ball of light and help heal a situation.

Remember you are an energy that can manipulate all energy into anything you desire.

You are the creation of your own destiny and have been given the opportunity to experience life any way you choose.

You can use any energy for any purpose.

You do this by setting an intention and focusing on this and send it to where you would like it to go.

I want you to practice this now for a while.

Empty out the trash by breathing in deeply and then blowing anything that comes up in your mind.

Give it a shape,

A colour.

It could even be a puff of smoke.

It can be anything you imagine it to be and what works for you.

Then breathe in again and blow it out further and see it clearly.

Decide if you want to keep it or send it on its way.

Give it a new intention and watch it break up and dissipate into nothingness.

Send it to someone that needs this new energy or simply allow the universe to use it how it pleases.

It can be used for regeneration,

To renew,

To be recycled into a more positive way.

Give it that intention and it will be done.

You have now learned a very important lesson.

You have realized that everything is energy and your thoughts create that energy.

That energy can be kept or repurposed into something new and more productive.

That you are the creator of your own thoughts and that you decide what thought to keep and what one to let go.

As you continue to do this exercise you will notice your life changing in many ways.

You will sleep better,

Be more positive,

Have more energy,

Feel healthier,

Have more productive relationships and most importantly you will be at the beginning of changing your entire life.

You can do this anywhere as you walk,

As you drive a car,

A lunch break at work and anytime that you need to empty out the rubbish you do not need.

A stressful situation can be easily managed by taking a few minutes out and breathing in deeply and breathing out that discomfort you are feeling.

You don't have to carry this around anymore.

Just let it go now and change it into something you desire.

Watch the miracles happen as you become the master of this exercise.
