Hello lovely and welcome to this meditation.
Before we begin get comfy,
Create a little nest,
Some blankets and make sure that you can really relax.
You may want to make sure that you switch off any phones or anything that's likely to distract you over the next 10 minutes just so that you can really indulge in this meditation.
And when you're ready just gently closing your eyes and bring your awareness to the breath in the belly.
Just noticing the gentle rise of the ball.
Not trying to change the breath in any way.
Just allow it to bring you back to the present moment.
And noticing how the breath is for you in this moment.
Is it fast or slow?
Is the rhythm regular?
Or a little bit free and easy?
Does the breath feel smooth?
Or a little bit more chittery?
And being careful not to label one as any better than the other.
Just allowing it to be whatever it is for you today.
And we're going to bring our hands into prayer position now.
Just at the heart space.
And as we breathe in,
Allowing our awareness to rest in the heart space.
Noticing how it feels in this area of the body today.
Is it tight?
Restricted?
Relaxed or open?
Just noticing.
And allowing your awareness to gently melt away any tension you're holding in this area of the body.
And as you breathe in,
You notice reiki energy coming in through the crown of the head and starting to fill up this area.
This area of the heart.
With each breath,
This energy feels more powerful.
Allow it to fill up this area.
Until it moves into your shoulders,
Coming down into your arms.
You can feel it in the palms of your hands as you rest in prayer pose.
Cycling background.
With each breath,
More energy coming in into the heart space.
Flowing round into the shoulders,
Into the arms,
Into the palms.
Allow this energy to build.
Allow this energy to flow.
Noticing any sensations of the reiki energy.
Maybe a warmth,
Maybe a tingling.
Maybe nothing at all.
And ask him when feels right for you.
Proceed to move your palms onto the body.
Anywhere you feel called to give yourself reiki today.
Allowing that energy to fill you up.
To heal,
Calm and soothe.
And relax you on a much deeper level.
