Hello,
My name is Hilary Hart and I'm going to share with you some findings within a filing cabinet that I came upon from sharing a therapy room with my friend and associate.
Many years ago I met a lady called Jenny Lloyd,
A beautiful lady,
Very kind.
I grew to know her over meeting her on courses and then bumping into her.
And one day she rang me and she said,
Would you like to frequent my therapy room?
And I said,
Well,
That's your therapy room.
And she said,
No,
No,
No,
I won't be around for much longer.
And I'd like you to have it.
And what I was to learn was that Jenny had been diagnosed as terminally ill and she had accepted that she was leaving this earth and that she wanted to share with me some of the learnings that she'd had.
And she left me a filing cabinet and within that cabinet I found many pieces of wisdom and things that I have really benefited from and I want to share them with you now.
One of them is the symptoms of inner peace.
So here goes,
This is what's written.
Be on the lookout for symptoms of inner peace.
The hearts of a great many have already been exposed to inner peace and it is possible that people everywhere could come down with it in epidemic proportions.
This could pose a serious threat to what has up to now been a fairly stable condition in the world.
Some signs and symptoms of inner peace are a tendency to think and act spontaneously rather than on fears based on past experience,
An unmistakable ability to enjoy each moment,
A loss of interest in judging other people,
A loss of interest in interpreting the actions of others,
A loss of interest in conflict,
A loss of an ability to worry.
This is a very serious symptom.
Frequent overwhelming episodes of appreciation,
Contented feelings of connectedness with others and nature,
Frequent attacks of smiling,
An increasing tendency to let things happen rather than make them happen and finally an increased susceptibility to the love extended by others as well as the uncontrollable urge to love them back.
And there we have it.
Thank you Jenny.
