I offer this brief meditation as a moment of pause and as a moment for self-love.
Find a comfortable posture and settle into stillness.
If it's safe to do so,
I invite you to close your eyes.
Begin to shift your awareness to the breath and on the inhale,
Notice that as the chest rises,
The heart center shines forward.
You're welcome to place your palms here as you gently breathe into this space.
Silently repeat,
May I have joy and its causes,
May I be free from suffering and its source,
May I never be apart from joy and love,
May I have peace of mind.
Take a deep breath to slowly return to your body and when you're ready,
At your own pace,
Open your eyes.
May your thoughts,
Words,
And actions throughout your day serve to cultivate an unshakable self-love and may you share this love with others as you're able to.
