Hello,
And welcome.
This is an exercise to find your centre of beingness.
This is a great exercise to start your day with,
To regroup in a moment of uncertainty or struggle,
Or to simply align with your truth in the moment.
These three simple statements are powerfully transformative.
You can write them on a sticky note,
Post them on a mirror or your phone,
Perhaps the visor in your car,
Or you can simply etch them on your heart.
Just keep them someplace handy so you can find them in the moment that you need them.
Are you ready?
Great!
Okay.
Let's consciously position ourselves.
Sit comfortably or stand in front of a mirror.
Take a deep breath and slowly,
Slowly let it out.
Now let's align your mind,
Body and soul to your high wisdom.
Say the following affirmation with me.
I am tall.
I am centred.
I am in control.
And repeat.
I am tall.
I am centred.
I am in control.
Breathe deep and slowly,
Slowly exhale.
And again.
I am tall.
Inhale.
Reach up through your body and lengthen your spine.
I am centred.
That's a position of calmness.
Now breathe out.
I am in control.
Breathe deep and exhale.
Keep exhaling and exhaling and realize that you are in control of the breath.
And let it all out.
And one more deep breath in.
I am tall.
I am centred.
I am in control.
Breathe in and breathe out.
That's excellent.
Okay,
Let's break this down now.
I am tall.
I am tall means that I am in my body and I own it.
My physicality is present and I am reaching upwards.
I am centred.
I am centred means that I am at my peaceful self-resonance.
My mind and spirit are aligned in my heart-mind centre.
I am in control.
I am in control means I choose.
I choose.
I choose.
My emotions are mine to recognize and choose towards or away from.
I am not at the mercy of my circumstances around me.
They are weather and I,
I am constant.
You are in control,
You know.
You are in control of all aspects of your being.
The good,
The bad,
The beautiful,
The ugly.
But there's simply no sense in pondering the dark things you would occasionally experience as negative thought or behaviour at a deep level.
It's the pondering of it that keeps it present.
So struggle and worry is not yours to hold.
Simply find your centre of beingness and move forward.
So this is a powerful touchstone for you through the day.
You can think these words or say these words,
But just remember that you need to draw on the feeling you're feeling right now and your presence will be powerfully with you.
Are you ready?
Let's say these words together one last time.
I am tall.
I am centred.
I am in control.
Now quietly remind yourself that you are full and you are complete.
And say it,
I am full and I am complete.
That's wonderful.
You are safe,
All is well,
And we are complete.
