Take a deep breath in and a deep breath out.

On the exhale,

Slowly seal the eyes closed.

Today we are here to acknowledge our physicality,

Not by giving it a name or placing it in a box of any kind,

But rather giving thanks and showing gratitude for everything it does for us.

The strength it gives when we desire to push through.

The emotional cues it provides when life gets real or things get hard.

Our bodies give us life.

We aren't human without this vessel.

And if we all looked and felt identical,

Where is the mystery?

Where is the individuality?

There are many reasons why we may not feel in love with how we look on the outside.

But the moment we find inner satisfaction,

It causes us to release the resistance we hold with our outer selves.

We are all made to operate in a way that is natural to our being.

Realize that genetics is a gift,

Not a curse.

From the perspective that it's a miracle that any of us are even here is reason alone to accept.

Release any shame you may have around your body.

Simply release.

Gently breathe in to any tightness you may feel and focus on the breath.

Now as we ground,

Release any social conditioning you may have around what your body looks like.

Gently fold your hands across your heart.

Feel the deep beating in your chest to remember that you are alive.

You are here.

You are real.

Become the observer.

Take the wheel of yourself.

Watch intently how your body feels right now.

Don't react,

Just listen and don't judge.

Take a deep breath in,

Cleansing your body,

And a deep breath out,

Letting it all go.

Take a deep breath in,

Cleansing your body,

And a deep breath out,

Letting it all go.

Take a deep breath in,

Cleansing your body,

And a deep breath out,

Letting it all go.

Visualize your soul staring down at your physical body from above.

What would it say?

What does it want you to know?

Mine is proclaiming my radiance.

It's telling me to not focus on the flaws,

But instead the years of wisdom and growth.

It's reiterating to not conform to others depiction of beauty,

But instead stay true to my own body's natural look and feel.

What does yours say to you?

Notice how exciting each crevice and curve is,

Regardless of how it may look at any angle.

Gently skim your curves from the knees up to the chest with both hands.

Once more,

Gently skim your curves from the knees up to the chest with both hands.

Let that feeling reverberate through you.

Take it in.

Body acceptance is remaining in your very own healthy and natural state without depriving it or giving it more than it needs.

It's the balance of extremes,

The yin and yang.

Neutrality,

Being in the middle,

Is natural and healthy.

It's neither clinging or resisting.

It's not over-consuming or under-consuming.

Ask your body to give you guidance on how to remain in your specific natural state.

Use intuition when partaking in nourishment or physical exercise.

Do these efforts bring you to a place of contentment?

Notice what comes up for you now.

Chant the following affirmations as I lead you through.

I love and accept my body.

I am strong and capable of anything I want.

My genetics are a gift and are worth exploring and getting to know.

I am enough.

I love and accept my body.

I am strong and capable of anything I want.

My genetics are a gift and are worth exploring and getting to know.

I am enough.

Once more,

I love and accept my body.

I am strong and capable of anything I want.

My genetics are a gift and are worth exploring and getting to know.

I am enough.

Start to wiggle your fingers and toes.

Sway your hips back and forth.

Bring awareness to your solar plexus near your belly button.

Release any tension or shame that may have subconsciously housed itself there during this meditation.

Slowly release it all and let any worries melt away.

Bring your hands to a prayer position,

Placing the tips of the fingers near your third eye on your forehead.

Repeat slowly,

I love you,

I need you,

I appreciate you.

I love you,

I need you,

I appreciate you.

I love you,

I need you,

I appreciate you.

I love you,

I need you,

I appreciate you.

Slowly,

When you are ready,

Open your eyes.

I'll leave you with this quote.

The most powerful thing anyone can say to us is what we say to ourselves.

Go in peace,

My loves.
